1. Screen Names
“The shower in the hotel was going to feel so good,” Lee thought as he finished his morning run.
He closed the door quietly after he entered the room. She was still sleeping and he did not want to wake her.
He started the shower with the water as hot as he could handle. The muscles in his neck, back, chest, and arms began to loosen as the heat penetrated. After repositioning the showerhead, he was able to concentrate the water stream on his quads then calves.
Halfway through the shower, he cooled the water slightly and began to wash the sweat and road grime off of his body. His body temperature began to cool as he stood with his head bowed under the falling water.
The shower was doing exactly as expected.
After drying himself off, he swiped a corner of the towel on the mirror to clear off the steam. He looked at the stubble on his jaw and chin and thought about shaving.
“I am on vacation,” he thought, “plus, she likes the way the stubble feels on her thighs.”
He opened the bathroom door, dropped the towel on top of the dirty towel pile, and exited the bathroom.
“Good morning, Ms. Flowers,” he said as he approached the bed, “Did I wake you?”
“Good morning to you too, simplyme,” she giggled, “I woke up while you were out on your run, then fell back to sleep. I had no idea you were back until I heard you shut the shower off.”
They always laughed at the little game they played while on vacation. Ms. Flowers and simplyme were the screen names they had used when they first met. Meeting someone online was never a goal for either one of them, let alone getting married to someone they met on a website.
However, they were introduced to one another online, they met, dated, then married.
Ten years later, they still enjoyed remembering where they had started by calling one another by their screen names.
He leaned down to kiss her.
She lifted one hand and rested it on the side of his face.
“Mmm,” she purred, “You didn’t shave. I thought facial hair irritates you sometimes.”
“It does,” he replied in a husky voice, “but, I know you like it when I don’t shave. It’s worth it to me to have some discomfort when I know it gives you pleasure. When you are pleased, my little irritations disappear.”
“Are you irritated now,” she asked as she put her other hand on his face, “would you like to make your irritations disappear.”
“It would please me,” he said as he climbed on the bed, “it would please me to please you.”
They looked deeply into one another’s eyes as she held his face between her hands. She knew he would please her, he always did. She knew he felt pleasure when she responded to his touch and attention.
Their gaze broke as she directed his face down her body. He watched her close her eyes, tilt her head back and lay her head on the pillow.
She lifted her legs in the air and spread them as she rested her hands on the top of his bald head, directing his mouth to her wet, wanting, and swollen flower.
