"I really enjoyed reading these touching poems. The writer does such a lovely job tackling the subject of death and writes beautiful and poetic parting words to loved ones and saying heartfelt goodbyes. It makes me think of my deceased loved ones. The words resonate deeply with how we all feel when we have to depart suddenly from a loved one who has passed. These are words of heartbreak, sorrow, healing and strength. And it inspires us to hold those who have passed dearly in our hearts and memories forever."

"The author has written accessibly about the theme of loss and grief, showing tactfulness for direct description. There is no denying the emotion loaded behind the words, but I would like to see more of the person behind the words, too. I always feel like poetry is a blend of lyrical writing and diary writing because they are so incredibly personal, raw, and melodic. Some poems do better than others at getting deeper to the heart of the subject matter. Lies are a great example of this. I loved the succinct and powerful use of metaphors in this piece. My favourite line is 'I am a disguise.' More of this would have taken the poems to new, uncharted heights."
