Summary

What was the last time you had a nightmare? Ever woke up from a nightmare and felt weird.? Is there any nightmare that you often get? What are the things that you fear? What are your thoughts on death? Please don't get me wrong. I am no therapist, I am someone who is merely sharing his nightmare, and want you to feel the anxiety through my paragraphs after which I want you to go through those questions, I asked above. It's nothing serious, I am just not feeling good and it feels more like I am in a loop. What are your thoughts about life and death in general? Again, I am no therapist, I am just a guy, here to share my nightmare.

Chapter 1

Most of the things that happened in my dreams I could not recall, but it sure felt like I was dreaming for about an hour or so.

The only thing I remember is walking down on this pathway of the park which is hauntingly empty. I use to visit this park when I was little. I have a notepad in my hand and a pen in my shirt’s front pocket. We have skipped town and it’s been ages since I have visited that neighborhood. It is morning but the sun is heavily covered by thick grey clouds.

I am walking because I believe that someone or something indicated that it won’t rain. Emphasis on the word indicated because as I said, there might be more of the stuff that I had seen but I could not recall.

There is someone following me and I can sense it. but I don’t have the courage to turn around and see for myself. though I have pictured it in my head that a dark cloudy figure is following me, I am not sure about that and for some reason, I got this instinct to write on the notepad like I am Kira or something.

I took my pen out of my pocket, I can feel the dark figure is closing, I opened the notepad, it is closer, I started writing; I can write anything, any name, any place, any number, any animal yet I wrote 20 September 2020.

that’s when the figure was closest and I woke up.

My dog who usually sleeps beside my bed was not there, and I called him. he came in a few seconds, but here is the thing though; that date means nothing to me. no sign of relevance in my already boring life, yet I choose to write that date. I googled it and it was nothing so important that could touch my life. Now that date is stuck in my head.

My heart was pounding and it felt like it will leave my body. Somehow I calm myself down and then, I went back to sleep.

Most of the things that happened in my dreams I could not recall, but it sure felt like I was dreaming for about an hour or so.

The only thing I remember is walking down on this pathway of the park which is hauntingly empty. I use to visit this park when I was little…

musa moo: Its a sweet story. The writing is very good. The only thing I found wanting was the structurisation. Because of that it became a bit confusing in the middle ...
