Chapter 1: Introduced

“A normal day for everyone.”

“Peaceful for some. Boring for someone else and dangerous for somebody like me!”

A man jumped from the rooftop of a resident building; flipping and climbing walls like it was his everyday routine.

“Wolf 234. Coming. He is running away.” The earpiece attached to him said.

“I heard it. I'm after him. But I must say he's not an easy guy.” The man said.

People walking on the busy streets saw them and were amazed by the mysterious man.

“Sara. I think I need some cover. Hope you can do it?” He said.

“Done. Now go and catch him before he escapes.” She said.

“On it!”

He looks forward and sees his target escaping.

He dashes forward with full speed; leaping across building, crossing walls with parkour skills and finally closing near his target.

“Just get the hell away from me!” His target shouted.

When he came across a building with no way to escape; his target quickly pulled out a gun to shoot his chaser.

“Enough of running! I'll end this here.”

“That's what you think? Escaping by what killing me?” He walked casually near his target.

“Wolf 234. He has a gun be careful.” Sara said.

“Yes. That's my plan.” The target said.

“Paul. Do you really think you can escape?”

“I mean don't get me wrong. But you think after killing your crush and her boyfriend; you can escape from the law? And now you're thinking of killing me as well?”

“Just how many times are you going to repeat the same mistake before finally understanding that you have gone far from what you were.”

“I freaking don't care! She didn't liked me and I was fine. But how dare she insult me in front of the whole school. She stole my clothes and made me naked in front of them.” Paul, the target weeped.

“I was bullied and her boyfriend was the one who supported her antics.”

“It was fated for them to die! And now if anyone tries to destroy my life. I'll surely kill them.” Paul said.

He points his gun at Wolf 234.

“So you are a victim rather than a culprit. Fine. I'll leave you.” He said to Paul and started to walk back.

“Hey! Where the heck are you going?” Paul shouted.

“But you want me to leave? Isn't it?” He said.

“You should be dead in order for me to live happily!” Paul said.

“So you think of killing me? Well then in self defense I have to kill you?” Wolf 234 said.

He dashed forward and Paul anxiously shot at him. However, he evaded it with ease and quickly disarmed his gun.

“Soooo... Enough chit chatting. Let's end it real quick.” He said and immediately knocked him out.

Later

“We are reporting live to you. The cold blooded killer has been apprehended. Thanks to the mysterious man who caught him.”

“Further police investigation will soon take place. We are going to inform you when more evidence comes out. This is Jimmy Garon reporting.” The reporter said on TV.

“So I have finished my task and I hope this time I'll get some rest.” Wolf 234 said.

A woman holding a glass of water approached him.

“You do know right that there is no rest in our profession? The next mission might come soon, Jayden.”

“I know Sara.” Jayden said.

Sara handed him the glass of water. He drank it and headed back to his room.

Once he is out of the room, Sara locks the door and contacts one of her associates over dark web.

“Why did you called me?” The associate; going by the name D, said.

“Jayden might be ready to tackle another case. Especially for what he is trained for all these years.” Sara said.

“I am not sure anymore. Sure he is a Wolfer like us. But he is still on number 234. Whereas the number #1 is still missing.” D said.

“But the others have denied the request to take up this mission. The willing participants were killed mysteriously when they were in mission.” She said.

“But I believe that Jayden has the skills to complete the mission. He is also the only one who can take them out. After all they were responsible for his traumatic past.” Sara added.

“Fine. If he is ready to take on the mission. I'll give it to him.” D said.

“Okay.” Sara typed and disconnected the call with D.
