Ni-ki is the cold type. He never associates with someone he's not fond with. He's tall, handsome, talented, and sporty, which makes him popular in his school.
Despite that, he's never met a girl that made his heart flutter before. No matter how much girls try to ask him out, he never felt the desperation of going to not losing his chance to a girl.
School festival came and the school's basketball team which he belongs in decided to check out every room to see what type of fundraising they came up with.
Like usual, everyone's happy and excited because there are no classes. They get to have fun and just hang out.
Everything is colorful and everyone is having a good time.
Fund-raising events involved horror booth, dedication booth, jail booth, and other common themes. But on thenlast day of the festival, the basketball team went to this cafe-themed classroom.
They all ordered some beverages for a cheap price and decided to hang out for a while.
"Guys, how about we play gamed after this?" The team captain — Lee Heeseung, invites them.
"I'm in." Ni-ki agreed right away.
"You again? We won't be finished by midnight if you keep losing." Heeseung teased him.
"You're just afraid to lose," Ni-ki said chuckling.
"Hi! Here's your order." This beautiful fair-skinned girl with doll-like visuals and the most beautiful brown eyes Ni-ki has ever laid eyes on served their beverages.
"I'm Sunshine. You can call me if you need anything else." She said then went back to the counter. She giggled with her classmates and whispered to each other.
Ni-ki couldn't deny that he fell in love at first sight. Who is this girl? How come he's never seen her around before?
Why is she not one of his fangirls?
She must be new because he'd notice her if she's been walking around campus.
"Ni-ki, are you ok?" His teammate — Nicholas, asked him since he wasn't paying attention to Heeseung's cocky insults about him. He seems to be looking at the girls at the side.
Ni-ki tried to play cool and tried not to look too desperate. He wants to make an impression or at least catch her attention.
"What little kid, you finally realize you'll never win against me?" Heeseung insults him again.
"You wish, old man. Remember how many dunks and rebounds I did last basketball game? You might still be good at video games but I'm getting better in sports while you're getting rusty. Signs of aging." He jokes making them all laugh including Heeseung. He loves Ni-ki as a real brother than he loves seeing him get cocky and never take it personally.
Ni-ki glanced back at Sunshine but she's staring at soemone else.
He followed his stare and saw the school's pride. Figure Skating, Olympic medalist, Park Sunghoon.
This guy is a heartthrob because he's talented and handsome. Ni-ki hates this guy because the school is so in love with him that they had to throw a huge party on his birthday.
The thing is, Ni-ki's birthday comes after his, so the basketball coach always makes the team celebrate Ni-ki's birthday on Sunghoon's birthday so he can put the birthday funds in his pocket.
Almost everyone on campus thinks he has the same birth date as Sunghoon and treats his real birthday as an ordinary day.
So Sunshine likes this guy. He wouldn't allow that. Never.
Poor Sunshine 😂😂
