{Author’s Note}

Nothing in this story is meant to be taken seriously. It’s a fictional story that has components and ideas that are structured from movies, the real world, or other books that I have read.

Ravage is the first book of a new dark mafia romance series known as Leathally Damaged. Our male lead is not a good person. Some of the things that he does can be triggering to readers. Everything that is written is on purpose. He is meant to be a dangerous, mean, and manipulative person. Just like our main lead female is supposed to be soft-spoken, gentle, and innocent, Her personality is meant to represent everything that is pure soul.

There are some readers who might not agree with what happens between my characters or their actions within the story. That’s okay. Everyone has different ideas of what they want from a main character.

Again, this story is fictional but can be triggering. The story contains a lot of dark themes, such as graphic violence, very extreme exploration in sexual scenes, intense kinks, and mafia related actions that can be uncomfortable. The rest of the trigger warnings can be found at the end of my author’s note.

The content that this story contains is not for everyone and I am only going to mention it once because I will not place a content warning at the beginning of my chapters. You will be on your toes and I do say to enter the majority of the chapters with caution.

{Respect}

I do ask that everyone respect each other in the comment sections. The one thing I will not tolerate is bullying. Especially in any of my stories (that I am still going through). Everyone has an opinion and views things differently.

I also ask that you respect me.

I find it unnecessary to announce one’s departure. I mean, thank you for letting me know but what’s the point without a reason so I can improve? Anyway, I kindly thank you now for giving my story a chance and taking the time to read it.

Most of the knowledge that I have obtained to create this world comes from research, what I read in other dark mafia romances, or what I watched on TV. So, I don’t mind you correcting me. Especially on grammar. I’m not one of those authors who gets upset about that. I welcome it because I don’t always go over the things I write, like four times. I’m trying to change that.

The novel contains the following content that may be triggering: explicit language, mature/ intense sexual themes, graphic violence, manipulation (no choice), exploration of sexual pleasures (bondage, breath play, neck grabbing (possessive hold), pushed limits, etc.), and other explored dark themes.

{Sexual Exploration}

Consent, bondage (handcuffs, rope, and suspension), erotic asphyxiation (breathplay), praise kink, katoptronophilia (turned on by watching yourself masturbate or have sex in front of a mirror), orgasm control (orgasm denial, forced orgasm, edging, or ruined orgasm), breeding kink, and aftercare (cleaning/checking on sexual partner after the fact).

{Important Note}

The pregnancy trope is something that causes a lot of conflict in a story. I just want to say that if I want my characters to get pregnant, it will happen regardless of their opinions. I’m not saying it will happen in this book but I’m exploring something where the main characters don’t use protection (condoms but the female lead is on birth control) all the time. I don’t want everyone to automatically assume, “Oh, she’s going to get pregnant”.

That’s not how it’s going to work.
