It was the perfect story-telling aura and it's safe to say that the addition of your story being a fragment of reality in Appalachian Mountains just added on to the horror that you're exploring it. It's really spine chilling to me! Overall, you have solid grammar and sentence structures too :) I want to see your story as the portrayal of discomfort about the sheer gravity of the characters' struggling life. "Therefore it sucks. Nah, I'm kidding, but I will say this story is quite good. Chapter 1 in particular was intriguing, normally when it comes to messed up descriptions involving violence I would consider it shock value, but Robert here made it work perfectly. His technical writing skills are also good. However, I will say that the only complaint that I have is that... I got kind of lost when reading it, at least regarding Chapters 2 and 3. But, I think that the author may achieve some success if he keeps review swapping, accepts the constructive criticism, fixes the most common problems people present him, and keep modifying some stuff. That is what Inkitt recommends. Keep up the good work!"

"The writing is extremely well done. The storyline flows, and is easy to follow after the second chapter. This story is dark. I don't mean in a murder mystery, who done it, way. I mean it is one chapter after another of the worst that can happen to people who are superstitious and ignorant. These are the dark and horrible tales that became blue grass songs one hundred years later. Haunting haunting tales. The writing is well done, it is just too dark for me. I can't read any more."
