Chapter 1 - Katherine

Alot of people have been invisible at least once. Ok, maybe not everyone, but some people. And those people are me. I have been invisible by teachers and my classmates. You might think being invisible hurts, I understand. I know what it feels to be a person that can see. After, you might think “Why is it like this? and “Why am I not fitting with my classmates around me”. That’s what you might think , though not me. I am in grade 12 now and I don’t worry about fitting in with people because I know its useless, I have tried so many times, but it never worked.

Anyway, enough about that. I finally wake up from my sleep and go downstairs to the kitchen to eat breakfast, to my surprise, mom was downstairs making bacon and eggs with waffles. Mom usually goes to work and I am the one who makes breakfast. I guess today is her break.

I greet mom happily and she says hi back, “Good morning sweetie, I see you finally have waken up from your sleep. I tried to call your name from inside the kitchen and tried to wake you up from your sleep, but I now see that you were very tired from work yesterday”. I then think about if I remembered when mom tried to wake me up, though I get no memory of it and say “Sorry, mom I don’t remember you trying to wake me up”. After eating my 🥓🍳 breakfast, I go to the bathroom to brush and wash my face. When I finally finish packing my 🥪 lunch, which today’s luch was a turkey and cheese sandwich, I head start out the door. “Today is another boring day at school”, I say to myself. Today is Thursday, September 29 and I groan while I head into the entrance door. And today, there is a new kid, I think his name is Michael. Good luck to me.Alot of people have been invisible at least once. Ok, maybe not everyone, but some people. And those people are me. I have been invisible by teachers and my classmates. Blue: Over 120 pages and still no real storyline, or even clear exposition. Constant allusion to "hidden" meanings and feelings. Having said that, the potential is there, but the next chapters need to start making a point quickly - right now it feels that the author doesn't actually know where the story i...
