Once you are in this game there is no going back
" yeah yeah I won ". Lexi screamed on top of her lungs. We covered our ears
" Scream as much as you want cause you wins once in awhile ". Philip said and touched his nose with his thumb covering his smile. Lexi threw a yellow pillow with white dots in it, right on his forehead as he groaned.
" Okay okay stop it guys it's getting violent". Erica said In her golden voice.
" By the way Jen you know why the sky is dark at night ". Andrew said to me. What the heck. don't he know the reason
" Because as the earth rotates- ". Andrew cutt off me
" Because all the colours are inside your eyes". Blood rushed to my cheeks. I stared at him as everyone laughed. Woah didn't see that coming.
" Guess we will get a new couple ". Philip said. I threw the same pillow which Lexi threw at him.
" God I think you are cursed by that pillow god". Erica said through her laugh.
We all flinched when my phone rang I always put the ring volume on maximum. I touched my chest and let out a huge sigh. I picked up my phone. It was an unknown caller ID.
" Hello who is this ". I said. My friends looked at me . All I could hear was someone breathing. " Hello may I know who this is ". I ran my fingers through my brunette hair. Suddenly I heard someone whistling. It sounded like a male voice. A deep husky voice. I turned my phone on speaker. Lexi nodded. I don't know why she nodded. I got goosebumps when I heard his deep voice .
" Who is this ". I said now it's getting frustrated.
" Can you tell her your freaking name". Philip yelled. Soon he widened his eyes. The same deep husky voice laughed.
" I think you called the wrong number". I said and was about to cut the call but stopped when I heard him talking.
" We met again sweetheart ". I've heard his voice somewhere but my stupid brain can't recollect it. I was going to say something but he cut the call.
" Oh who was the freak ". Lexi said after leaning towards my phone.
" I don't know maybe a wrong number ". I said and tried to clear my mind.
" And you should low your ring volume ". Said Erica.
" What if it was a kidnapper ". Said Philip . What a nice thing to say.
" So what, we will escape like we escaped from the orphanage ". Andrew said
" Yeah you are right bro I still remember those days ". Erica said and creased her arms with her palms.
Yeah we all met in the orphanage. The warden of the orphanage was the most evil women I've ever seen in my entire life. Somedays she starved the kids. So all of us decided to escape from there. Andrew and me escaped by climbing down the building using a rope.while Philip, Erica , Lexi distracted the warden.

" You okay ". Andrew said after he climbed down. I was panting and my heart was beating faster than the speed of light.
"Okay Jen now it's your time ". Andrew said I nodded as a reply.
I walked towards the direction where the warden's room located. My hands were shaking. I took a medium-sized rock and aimed at the window. Did I mentioned I'm really bad at this. Yes that's why my hands are shaking. I threw the rock which hit the bathroom of the warden's room. I covered my ears expecting the warden to come and smack my ass.
Maybe after 4 minutes someone tapped my shoulder. It was Erica. She hugged me tightly. She pulled out the hug and started jumping while the tears left her eyes continuosly. I held Erica's hand. Andrew held mine. Lexi held Philip's hand. We ran fast as we could. I wonder why the warden didn't looked outside the broken window. Maybe because it was dark. Later when we reached the gate I saw the torch light.

I wonder other children in the orphanage will be okay ". Erica said a tear formed on her hazel blue eyes. She was the most tortured among us. Lexi patted her head.
All our conversation will lead to our past. I wonder why. It's been one year since we escaped from the orphanage. It's been one year since we breathe the air of freedom. I really owe my friends.
Ding Dong
I walked towards the door. I looked through the keyhole. It was our new neighbour who moved here to live with their grandparents 1 week ago. The twins. Nate and kat. They live four houses away from us . I opened the door.
" Hey guys come in ". I invited them inside our house.
" Hey bro how are you ". Said Erica. After shaking hands with both of them.
" We should enjoy our life so yeah chilling ". Said kat. I gestured them to sit down.
" Let me take some cool drinks for you ". Lexi said and was about to go but Nate stopped her.
" No thankyou but we have some important things to do ". Erica smiled
" So we came here to invite you to a Halloween party ". Said kat after giving us a card. An invitation card

We request you to attend the party all of you guys ". Said Nate.
" Yeah there are many surprises ". Kat said while walking backwards to the door.
" So we'll see ya there ". Nate said and waved at us.
" Don't forget there are many surprises ". Kat said and winked at us.
" Well I'm not going ". Said Andrew after jumping on the couch.
" Oh come on Andrew you are the life of the party ". I said.
" Jenni now a days you are lying too much ". Said Philip. Andrew threw the yellow pillow right on his bootiful face.
Lexi dumped all her clothes from her closet to bed. She was searching for her perfect dress for tonight's Halloween party.
" Useless clothes I have many cloths but none of them are useful god seriously seriously ". Lexi said.
" Okay calm down lex I will help you find one". Erica said. The boys were in the next room finding their belongings. A chaotic friend group.
I was wearing a complete black outfit. A leather jacket over a Black bralette top. And a torn jeans. I was waiting for my friends who were being chaotic as ever. I looked at the time. It was 7:19.
We could see their huge house from our house. The door was closed. Everything was looking perfect but soon my eyes landed on their house name plate. Heilla, the letter h,e,l,l was lit up in the plate. I felt something wrong. I read it ' hell'. Maybe their was some complaint with it. Erica rang the calling bell. Nate was the one who opened the door. Nate smiled at us and looked at Erica who was looking beyond stunning.
" You are looking beautiful Erica" said Nate who was looking like a human Tomato. Erica blushed. Kat came and smacked Nate's head.
" Yaah is this how you treat our party guest I'm sorry come in ". We all entered the house. It was almost like a white House. White walls. The living room was big. I looked around there was many people. I looked at my friends. Erica was talking to Nate Philip and Lexi were fight like always. Andrew was standing next to me. People were vibing to the song. Most of them were teenagers. " Oh my god you gonna be in trouble soon yeah ". This was the only line stuck on my brain. I was looking for Mr joy and Mrs joy who are the grandparents of kat and Nate. It's weird maybe they went outside.
The house name plate is still in my brain. I don't know why. Something's wrong. Or maybe my brain is just assuming things. I looked at my phone. It was 7:35 pm. Suddenly the music stopped kat climbed on top of the table. And she announced.
" Hello everyone seems like you all are vibing to the music". Everyone cheered. This time Nate climbed on top of the table.
" So what if we play some games there are twenty five people here". Said Nate. The whole crowd cheered .
I smiled and looked at Andrew who was looking at me. I held his hands. I looked around to find the rest. Erica was solving the problem of Philip and Lexi. Soon they walked towards us and stood next to us.
" We travel everywhere and arrange a party and let everyone enjoy so you are lucky people". Kat said as the crowed cheered for her.
Kat jumped from the table and locked the door and put the key in her jeans. Then she pulled down the curtains. I don't know why. But my heart is heart is beating like crazy. Nate also jumped from the table.
" So the rules are ". Nate said while kat came and stood beside them. Kat took a big cardboard box from another table.
" First one is put your phones in this box ". Kat said
" What's up with that ". A teenage boy with blue cap said.
" Just don't wanna ruin the fun ". Nate said and winked. Everyone put their phone in the box including me and my friends.
" And the second rule is once you are in this game there is no going back ". Nate said with his serious face which scared the hell out of me.
" The third rule is don't.make. any .noise ". Kat said. It's an Halloween party and now she is telling there shouldn't be a noise.
" And the fourth rule the losers will be terminated ". Woah now it's getting intresting.
" So I know everyone knows how to play hide and seek ". Kat said with an enthusiasm.
" So me and kat is gonna count to twenty".
" And you can hide everywhere in this house it's your choice twenty people can be the winners out of twenty five so five people will be terminated and come here after we rang the bell which indicates the game is over". I looked at my friends who were all smiling like idiots. " So the time starts now". Kat said and both of them closed their eyes with their hands and started counting.
I ran with Andrew cause he was holding my hand. We entered in a big room. A big flower was drawn in the white wall. It was framed which gave an antique vibe. This was all I could notice in these few seconds. Me and Andrew were hiding under a big couch. Rich family. Philip Erica Lexi were in the same room as we. They were hiding inside a cupboard. I could hear them counting.
" We are coming ". They yelled.
My heart beat was getting higher. I peeked through the small gap between the couch and the floor. I saw Philip waving at me. I waved back. My forehead was sweating. I looked at Andrew. We we're still holding our hands. Suddenly I heard some footsteps. I closed my eyes tightly. I cannot ignore the fact that my heart was saying something's wrong. I peeked through the gap again only see a shadow. A Manly figure. Probably Nate but he was holding an axe in his hands. I felt weak in my knees . My lips were trembling. I looked at Andrew who was also peeking through the gap. He held my shoulders tightly. Nate dragged the long axe. He walked towards a big case which was made of iron. It was an antique case.
" I found you ". Nate said and Kicked it. A teenage girl who was wearing red colour crop top and black jeans opened it while smiling. She stood up.
" I thought I will not get caught ". She
said. " Wait what's with that axe ". Her lips trembled. Nate smiled at her and raised the axe. He sliced her neck. The white flower behind her was now covered with her blood. Blood was on everywhere. I looked at her body in horror. I felt my whole body is gonna collapse. I should've listen to my heart. There was many singals for me that this is a dangerous place. Is mr and mrs joy part of this. He wiped the blood on his face and smiled. I pressed my hands on my mouth trying not to make noise. For a moment I thought it was a prank. I wish. Andrew hugged me. I hugged him back. Please some help us out of this hell. What is he find us will he kill us like he did to her.
" First one is terminated". Nate said to a walkie talkie and chuckled.
Tears left my eyes. I didn't knew this would be like this. I regret everything now. After searching for five minutes Nate walked towards a couch which is opposite of our couch. He rested the axe on his shoulder. Blood was dripping from it.
