Chapter 1 - Ninjago?
??? P.O.V.
The ninja were gaining on me quickly, especially Lloyd. I turned right at an intersection, but instantly regretted it. The wheels on my motorcycle screeched as I suddenly hit the breaks. I was right in front of a wall, and the ninja were right behind me. I began to panic, but not because they were about to capture me. I was panicking because I knew that Lord Garmadon would be furious and kill them.
I could hear the engines of the ninja’s vehicles behind me. I quickly turned around and spotted Lloyd’s Nightcrawler, and some other vehicles I didn’t know the name of. I decided to resort to plan B. I took out the sleeping tea I had and spread it out on the ground in front of me. I made sure though that it was far enough away from me. They tried to resist, but eventually failed, and soon enough, they were all asleep. I did some sort of ritual I had seen in an enemy’s spellbook, a sorcerer named Clouse. Then I tried to send them to some random realm. I tried thinking of some safe ground or some peaceful place, but all I could think about was them! I was about to give up when I noticed that they were fading away, being transferred to a realm. I silently wondered to myself. Where could they have gone?
Lloyd’s P.O.V. (Show)
I woke up to a blinding light hitting my eyes. I squint open my eyes to see. I immediately took in my surroundings. I was laying down on a deserted beach, with my friends scattered all around me. I could see a city in the distance, and I also then noticed that my friends were starting to wake up.
¨Where are we?¨ Kai asked as he looked around. ¨Wow. I never knew there was a volcano this close to Ninjago.¨ He pointed to something on the horizon. I suddenly saw a giant volcano that was super close to this place.
I tried to remember how we got here, but the last thing I remember is patrolling the city at night. I also remembered that everyone else was on different missions in different parts of Ninjago. ¨Wait, how did you guys get here?¨ I asked. ¨I was alone when I was patrolling, and all of you were on missions in different parts of Ninjago.¨
¨T-this does n-not compute! We are not in Ninjago.¨ Zane exclaimed, his face glitching.
Jay looked around and found a sign. The sign read, ¨Welcome to Ninjago!¨ Near the bottom, it said, ¨Recent attack: 1 day/s ago.¨ ¨Eh, I think we’re in Ninjago, but I don’t remember this sign. Or a volcano chilling on the horizon.¨ Jay pointed out.
¨Yeah, and what do they mean by the recent attack one day ago?¨ Kai asked.
¨ I do not know, Kai.¨ Zane said.
Cole took a good look at the nearby city and smiled. ¨Maybe we could ask the people there?¨ He suggested.
¨I’m not so sure about that. They copied the name of our city, and I don’t think we could trust them.¨ Nya said.
¨Nya, we have no other choice.¨ Kai reprimanded her. ¨But we could at least get some casual clothing so they won’t know we’re ninja.¨
¨Oh, yeah. And where will we get them, Kai?¨ Jay asked sarcastically.
His question was answered when he turned around and saw me and the others, already wearing our casual clothes. (*Magic*)
I was wearing a green hoodie with a white and gold striped shirt underneath, plain black pants, and some green sneakers with gold laces.
Nya was wearing a short black jacket and a striped blue and white shirt. She also had some black pants and some gray sneakers with blue laces.
Kai wore a red sweatshirt with some black stripes . He also was wearing some black pants and red sneakers with black laces.
Cole was wearing a black leather jacket with orange highlights. He had a plain white shirt underneath and some black pants with orange highlights. He also had some black sneakers with orange laces.
Zane was wearing an ice-blue long-sleeved shirt that had white triangles at the bottom of the sleeves and the shirt that looked like icicles. He wore some black pants and white sneakers with blue laces.
¨Really? How did you get those?¨ Jay asked them, clearly amazed.
¨Your gi works like a vest.¨ Zane said in his matter-of-factly voice. ¨Take off the tie and the pins on your upper gi, then put your gi away along with the mask. Master Wu told us to wear our gi’s like this in these types of situations. This way we could take them off easily and be left with our casual clothing.¨
¨Oh, yeah.¨ Jay admitted and did what Zane told him to do. He folded his robe and put it down on the ground. Now he was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt with lightning marks on the sleeves. He also had some black pants and some blue sneakers with white laces.
¨Can we go now?¨ Cole asked us impatiently, clearly in a hurry to go. I nodded at him and we started towards the city.
Time Skip: 1 hour
We arrived at the city and were not surprised at how tall the buildings were or how magnificent the culture was, because it was the same as ours. The population of the city was high and most of the buildings were as tall as Borg Tower and other buildings in our city. The city was indeed nice. But the people sure weren’t. Everytime my friends and I would pass by, they would stare and whisper among themselves. I personally thought that they weren’t as welcoming as the sign said but I soon found out why. I heard someone whisper too loud because I managed to hear them.
¨It’s the son of Lord Garmadon. Beware him!¨
So this place knows about my father? I thought he was dead, and why did they say to beware me? Something tells me something isn’t right. Doesn’t this Ninjago know that I’m the green ninja? Protector of Ninjago? Grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master?
Then a thought suddenly came into my head.
The first realm, the realm of the Oni and the Dragon.
The First Spinjitzu Master created a new realm called Ninjago, and they say he made more, but only sixteen were discovered.
I didn’t remember if these were memories or just random thoughts. Then I realized what those thoughts were for.
Maybe this is another realm, not included in the sixteen!
My mind was racing. How did we get here? Why were those thoughts so familiar? I was so confused that I didn’t realize I was leading the others to an abandoned parking lot.
We all sat down on some nearby benches and everyone else started talking, but I kept quiet.
¨Why did those people act so mean?¨ Jay complained.
¨Don’t know. Maybe they aren’t that polite to outsiders?¨ Kai asked.
¨They were talking about me.¨ I suddenly spoke up. Everyone looked at me confused.
¨Uh, I don’t think so.¨ Cole said.
¨I heard someone say that the son of Garmadon is here, Beware him.¨ I said blankly.
Everyone started to get concerned. Nya was about to question it but I spoke up.
¨It’s okay. They live here, and they barely know me. But I do know they know someone else.¨
This just made them more confused, and Nya finally spoke up after a long silence. ¨What do you mean it’s okay because they live here? And who is this person?¨ She asked. Everyone nodded.
I sighed. ¨I mean Lloyd Garmadon.¨
¨Uhhh, Lloyd. Are you forgetting tha-¨Kai started and I interrupted him.
¨And we’re in another realm, which I’m guessing is a mirror realm.¨ I said.
Zane gasped, Kai froze, Nya’s jaw dropped, Cole fell from his seat, and Jay fainted.
