Prologue
I am floating.
Floating endlessly.
This is the way I have been for years, decades, centuries. Around me, light tunnels shift and move to endless, indescribable music that can only be heard with the soul. These light tunnels provide transport to any people who dare venture outside their own universe.
Who am I, you may wonder.
I am the last of my kind.
The last Shadow Traveller.
And because of one fatal mistake I made eons ago, I am trapped helplessly between the barrier of real and what isn’t.
I don’t age, I don’t become older. Time does not exist here. I have almost forgotten what time feels like, the rushing feeling of the clock moving.
For now, I am immortal.
