Aria
Aria smiled to herself in the mirror as she ran her hairbrush through her wavy black hair. "It's my first day at high school! New teachers, new friends, and most importantly, no Zane!" She set her hairbrush down and looked over her outfit.
"Aria! Breakfast!" her mom yelled from downstairs. Aria grinned and bounced downstairs to her mom and two sisters, who were already eating.
"Ariaaaaa! We have waffles! Your favorite! " her younger sister, Julia, called. Aria dashed over to her chair, which already had pile of waffles she quickly inhaled.
"Girl. Slow down." Aria's other sister, Lilian, stated. "If you choke, I warned you"
"I won't!" Aria declared. "Thank you mom! The school bus should be here any minute! Bye Julia, bye Lilian!" she grabbed her Demon Slayer backpack, and dashed out the door to the bus stop.
Aria grinned, happy to be starting high school. But when she got to her bus stop, she was met with a familiar face. A face she'd hoped high school would mean she'd never have to see again.
"Why the hell are you here? And a Demon Slayer backpack? What are you, five?" The owner of the face jeered. Zane.
