Chapter 1: Alyssa
~Alyssa P.O.V.~
I was sitting at the cafe with my two friends Marie and Mack because today would be the last time we would all see each other because my asshole of a soon-to-be ex husband Giovanni is moving us to Utah because he got a job offer as a CEO for some banking company and me being the *good wife* I had to go with him so I didn't argue and I just went with him because I'm not wasting my breathe with arguing with a son of a bitch who only hurts me because he can't get his way stupid ass bastard.
I said good bye to my friends and walked out the cafe when I got a call from a number that I didn't know and so when I answered no one said anything there was just breathing on the other end and so after I said hello for like the 5th time I hung up and then headed back to the hell hole where I knew the dead beat would be waiting for me so I took the longest route to the house that I could and so when I got to the house his car was in the driveway and so when I step foot through the door I saw him holding something and I stopped.
When I looked he was holding a note that had the words written really big on it 'GET OUT THE PAPERS ARE ALREADY SIGNED AND I NEVER WANNA SEE OR HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN.' and so I smiled and pushed past him and packed the rest of my stuff and put everything in my truck and then walked back inside the house and got the rest of my small things and then handed him back the ring and the key and left without saying a word.
I must have been driving around for awhile because when I stop I'm not in my city or I should say state anymore and that I'm back in my hometown Salt Lake Utah and so I decided to go back home and surprise my parents and let them know that I was back home for good. When I pulled up to the house there was a car that I didnt know so I was kinda nervous but I got out of the car and walked to the front door and then I heard someone come to the door and when I looked up it was my mom with the most biggest smile ever on her face.
I hugged my mom for so long that I didn't even see my dad behind us. "Hi poppa I've missed you guys." I hug him and then we all hear someone clear their throat and when we all turn around I didn't think that I would ever see him again but here he is in my parents living room standing right in front of me and then everything goes dark.
