Chapter 1

In this quaint little town, there were plenty of people who ‘needed’ the medallion. When the two girls found the medallion, they were overcome with joy and shock.

“I just cannot believe we found it!” Joslynn exclaimed. Standing 5' 0" tall, this tan skinned woman has a disinterested feel about her. She has a round face, a large nose, and full lips. Her dark blue eyes are almond-shaped and she has bushy eyebrows. She has closely shaved, brown hair which is fine when allowed to grow. She has short arms, a weak torso with modest breasts with a larger-than-average waist, and short legs.

“I know, me either!” said Cassie. Standing 5' 3" tall, this cream skinned woman has a very meek feel about her. A particularly notable feature is her distinctive clothes. She has a long face with a round chin, a large nose, and very thin lips. Her black eyes are close set and she has thick eyebrows. Her brown hair, dyed completely blue, is short, fine and is un-styled. She has toned arms, a thin torso with no breasts with a wide waist, short legs, and wide feet.

Once they presented it to their little crew of friends, and everyone had their reactions, Caroline, standing 5' 1" tall, this fair skinned woman has an aloof feel about her. A particularly notable feature is her misleading appearance; she looks older than she really is. She has a wide face, a large nose, and puffy lips. Her brown eyes are wide set, and she has thick eyebrows. She has very short, greasy, black hair which is styled with a military cut. She has long arms, a weak torso with no muscle tone, and weak legs. Her whole body is a canvas for numerous unrelated realistic, stylish and animal tattoos, and Paul, standing 5' 11" tall, this red skinned man has a pretty average feel about him. He has a long face, a straight nose, thin lips, and his green eyes are rounded. He has very short, straight, black hair which is styled with a military cut. He has pierced both eyebrows. He has a short neck, wide shoulders, short arms and slender hands, a broad torso with lightly defined muscles, a straight waist, bony hips, short legs, and large feet, started to argue over who gets the medallion.

Alex, who was standing 6' 3" tall, this tan skinned person has a focused feel about them, and they have a faint scar on their left cheek which resulted from brave behaviour years before. They have a wide face, a straight nose, narrow lips, and their grey eyes are almond-shaped. They have medium-long, wavy, brown hair which is worn in braids. They have muscular arms and strong hands, a broad torso with chiselled abs, broad hips, muscular legs, and wide feet, broke up the argument by saying, “Y’all know I deserve this medallion most. I need it to heal my mother. Look, she’s not doing so well down in that hospital of hers. For her birthday, I really wanted her out of there for good.”

Chris, standing 6' 7' ' tall, this fair skinned man has an aggressive feel about him, and he has a small burn mark on his nose. He has a narrow face, a small nose, thin lips, and his brown eyes are heavy-lidded. He has medium-long, straight, black hair which is spiky. He has pierced both upper ears. He has long arms, a thick torso with chiselled abs, a straight waist, and toned legs. His whole body is a canvas for a collage of traditional, animal and stylish tattoos, interrupted by saying, “Why don’t we do this. Alex gets it first, then Paul, after Paul comes Joslynn and Kara, then Caroline and Cassie, and I go last. Does that sound fair to all of you?”

“That sounds fair,” Paul put in, “what does everyone else say?”

“What about the rest of the town?” Asked Joslynn. No person spoke, but a dog barked in the distance.

“I think the townspeople can manage on their own,” said Cassie.

“But they deserve the medallion as much as we do,” argued Joslynn. “They should get the same chances as we get.”

“Ugh. Fine. I guess we can share. But we get it first.”

“Is it just me, or does this relationship have some kinks in it?” asked Caroline.

“What are you talking about?” replied Paul, sipping his latte.

“Remember last night,” Caroline asked. “8 o’clock? Ring a bell?”

“No. I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about. I was at the coffee shop with you last night.”

“Um, no, you weren’t.”

“Well then. I think we have reached a conclusion. We are no more.”
