Chapter 1
The big steel doors to the massive computer room filled with computers on the desk on the floor and on ladders and on other stuff they shouldn’t. A whole corner is filled with floppy disk and in another corner is filled with cassette tapes and cassette tape lays around the whole room.And mainframe computer 10 or 15 all stand next together. The two big steel doors into the door open and Marty jobs walks into the computer room.Holding his new Walk man version 5.3 in his left hand and his note book in his right. Marty is a young boy no older than 12 years of age and is short but is skinny and had short jet black hair.He wore a all white shirt with a black tie and brown pants,dark brown pants.He had four pens in his shirt pocket.Red,yellow,blue the 3 main colors and a normal Bic Ballpoint pen.And a fountain pen in his pocket and he had square thin glasses on him at all times since without them he couldn’t see more then 4 feet and it would only be straight in front of him.Everything else would be cloudy white. Marty sat down at his desk on his swivel seat and he looked at the old Commodore 94 that was always covered in dust and had a old yellow sticky note with the password for his computer since he always forgot.“Super-Mario 35” Marty looked at the old and dirty covered in dust shoe box.it was filled with floppy disk this was the 3 inch box.The smallest floppy disk full of color full disk red,blue,black,green and orange.in the next box was the 5 inch box with bigger floppy disk and then the 8 inch box.The biggest floppy disk and the least amount only about 15 the most in a box was the 3 inch.which had 66 floppy disk in it and another box under the desk.
There was also a box of cassette tapes on the ground there was about 100 of them some plain and blank other for video games Marty played when I was on break.Marty grabbed a 8 inch floppy disk from the box and put it in the computer.And then Marty started to work on his program that he had been working on for the past few weeks.
After a few hours of working on the program and then a few more hours on fixing the bugs in some of the programs and working on some broken code.And a hour or two of testing the program and half an hour a rewinding the cassette tapes later Marty went on break. Marty headed to the break room and bought a diet coke from the venting machine.Then i saw at a table and pulled out his Electronic Quarter pack game he had bought a few weeks back.Marty used some money by working as a paper boy for a few weeks to make some money to buy it. Marty saw his fellow co-worker ferries bull playing on his Microvision he bought with his money. “Ah,you’ve got that quarter back game ah !,that’s funny” Ferries said to Marty poking fun at his video game.“yeah,I wish I had that vision” Marty said sad wishing he spent a bit more time as a paper boy. Then Marty saw another kid on the team who had a Merlin game console.Marty pointed at him and said to Ferries.“Hey,look he’s got the Merlin it doesn’t even have graphic’s !” Marty said it to get him off his back and to leave him alone.“Yeah,I’m gonna make fun of him” Ferries said and then walked over to the other kid.Marty drank his diet Coke after a bit then stopped playing the quarter pack.Marty liked the diet version no matter what people said it didn’t seem any different which was how it should be right.Well all the cokes were pretty good but that was Marty’s though. Then Marty played some pong on the arcade machine the company had in the break room.Marty was a pro at the game better then anyone in the whole company.Well the whole building maybe someone was better than him but he didn’t know anyone else better. He had won the 2031,2032,2033,2034 and the 2035 pong championship and made it to the semi finals of the local pong championship.Marty then went back to his office room with about 5 minutes left on his 15 minute break. Marty put in his copy of Colossal cave adventure one of his favorite games and he made it was far as he could in only 5 minutes.He used a the map that he had got from his boss Tommy Jarvis. After the break ended Marty got back to work and fixing up the last couple bugs and working on the last few broken parts of the programs.
After He finished the programs he took all the boxes down to the storage room where they would be sent down to the shipping room and be sent out to the public to use the programs and play the video games.Now the boxes were empty but they would be the very next day .
