Chapter 1
Whats going on mommy?"the little girl asked.
"Go back to your room baby," the mother said.
"Is that your child?"a strange man asked. The man had a hood on covering his eyes and hair. He had a unforgettable smile, and not the good kind.
"Thats none of your business," the woman replied with.
"Your right it isn't any of my business, I'll take my leave now,"the man said and walked out of the house.
"How do the reporters know what they said or how the man looked like?" I asked while giving the newspaper back to my best friend, Delilah.
"Apparently when the house burned down the fire magically stopped at one part of the house which had a camera with a microphone," she said back with. Delilah knows all this dude to she's the sherrifs daughter.
"What do you mean magically?" I asked while we both started going into algebra.
"Exactly what I said, it just stopped burning magically according to the firefighters," Delilah said while sitting down.
"Well do they have a lead about who it was?" I asked while sitting next to her.
"No, they didn't find any weapons that started the fire which is odd and the video only showed his smile," she said, "it looked like the whole rest if his body was gone."
"Hello class, please quiet down and get ready for today's lesson," the teacher interrupts. During class the police comes into our classroom.
"I need Fernando to come with me," the officer says. When Fernando passes me he drops a not on my desk and goes with the cops. I pick up the note and read the cover:
READ THIS ALONE
After class I step out of the room and Delilah is trying to catch up with me.
"Alexandra, wait up for me," Delilah is screaming. But I ignore her and go into the janitors closet making sure no one saw me. I got the note out of my beat up bag and started reading it.
I really enjoyed the mood and depth in your story, it paints such vivid imagery.
It made me think how powerful it could be as a visual piece or c0mic.
