"I read the blurb and opener of about 20 other novels on this site before I found this one. I passed the others by because the writing wasn't strong enough to carry the story. I'm only a few chapters in on this, but the narrative voice here is excellent. Clear, detailed description means we can visualise everything that's happening. I've not read enough to comment on the plot yet, but the quality of writing is of a professional level. I would not be at all surprised to find this work in a bookshop. Maybe one day I will :)"
