Night, night!

“I don’t see why you would bother so much to have sex with her.” Fred was talking with his mouth full of some shitty spaghetti the canteen made, “Just pick another one.” Luke passed his hand in his hair, looking at the ceiling with a straw in his mouth. Oh, how he wanted to smoke right now.

James nodded, sipping at his juice box. “Besides, everyone had stopped talking about it, like, weeks ago. Just let it go, dude, fuck other bitches, like, I don’t know, Kelly Tapper.”

Everyone laughed “Nah, man, that ugly ass hoe? Do you see her teeth? The king needs someone better. How about Agnes – wait was that her name?” Fred was laughing with his mouth open at Tyler comment. “Dude, Kelly’s teeth look like the one’s of a humanoid or some shit with that – how do you call it – that teeth corrector!” Everyone laughed again, and James spitted his juice.

“C’mon man, just let go of that weirdo, choose another one and have some fuuuun.” Kevin said, drying his eyes after laughing and shoving Luke’s shoulder.

Luke scoffed at the thought. His plan was much more important than getting his dick wet. He looked at his friends. “Megan Delaware is a bitch who deserves to be humiliated in front of everybody, dingus. I have a plan to get my revenge, don’t worry. Also, let’s see if she’s really a girl or she has a surprise in her pants.” Everyone hooted and laughed loudly.

Anne Renewal, seated alone only a table from Luke, had rotated her eyes: his so-called plan was a clichĂ©-y thing he probably saw in some shitty movie. Megan hated his guts, and she wasn’t stupid.

But let’s start from the beginning, so that you can understand Luke’s situation here: Luke was a normal guy. His friend group was okay, he liked to go to parties and play at football games. He didn’t like school very much, his grades were horrible, not that he cared, his father would pay whatever price to not make him repeat the year.

He was just a normal senior who liked football and videogames and chicks. In particular, chicks. Since his girlfriend Jenna had dumped him – with the shitty excuse that he was cheating on her, as if he hadn’t done that for all the duration of their relationship – he decided he wasn’t going to try to have a girlfriend for a while, and he decided to have some flings here and there. All the girls were incredibly happy about his decision, and they had thrown themselves to him like he was the honey, and they were the bees. But there was a particular girl that didn’t care to have sex with him: it was Megan Delaware.

Megan was one of those girls with nothing special about them: not a great face to look at, but not ugly either, with a normal physique and normal hobbies. She had olive skin, a little bit of freckles splotched on her round cheeks, normal brown eyes and hair, she wore glasses. She only went to one club (which Luke wasn’t very sure was made of more than three people, including Megan) and she wasn’t popular or known for that matter. She was intelligent and had good grades. She was
normal and unseen and she seemed like she didn’t care. Luke had only noticed her at a party, where he had a fit of jealousy against Jenna and her new boyfriend (what was his name? Tom, Thomas, Terry?). Megan was there, in a corner, drinking from those plastic cups full of not-so-legal punch and talking to Sammy, her bother.

Admittedly, Luke had not been fully sober, but at the time flirting and making out with Megan in front of Jenna to make her jealous, seemed a clever idea. Just for fun! So, he had gone in front of Megan, completely ignoring Sammy, and asked her: “Hey – Megan, right? I’m Luke, but I’m sure you already know. How about we have a chat for a bit in the guest room?” He had also added the wink! Susan Tackle had even looked in Megan’s direction with envy in her eyes – Luke hadn’t called her after they had sex three weeks prior.

He expected Megan to be ecstatic, to blush and stammer, to take his hand and run towards that room, maybe so noisily that Jenna would have noticed. What he didn’t expect was that Megan would have said “Sorry, don’t know you, and I don’t have any intention to ‘chat’ with you. Now, please, leave me alone, I’m talking to my brother.”

That was surprising for Luke. After rejecting him, Megan had tried to go away and push him aside, but Luke had taken her wrist and insisted that he just wanted to have a chat. Megan had repeated that she wasn’t interested, so Luke had shouted to her: “Don’t be such a prude!” Well, that slap from Megan had admittedly gotten Jenna’s attention.

After the party, Luke had woken up with a terrible hangover and a stinging cheek. He was furious. Every single damn girl in that fucking house had wanted to have sex with him, and would have sold her soul so that he could use her as his puppy, but Megan had rejected him? In front of everyone for that matter, in front of Jenna! Now, Luke wanted two things: first, to have sex with Megan (now it was a matter of pride); second, to have revenge. It didn’t matter that nobody even talked about the slap anymore: he wanted Megan to suffer.

Just to be clear, Luke was extremely talented when it came down on getting a girlfriend. With Jenna, it only had taken a promise necklace and a kiss on the cheek. Luke had tried to be romantic. He bought her flowers, chocolates, football game’s tickets. He made that nerdy Anne write love letters that he could give her, with the promise of money, since she knew Megan so well. It was strange – on Luke’s part – how Megan and Anne were so close. They would hold their hands at school like they were toddlers, they would constantly hug each other, and they did everything together. If Megan was at a party, Anne was at the party, too; if Anne was in the canteen, Megan was taking their lunches. It was strange to see them separated, and it had been strange how easy it was to corrupt Anne, but whatever.

The point was, Megan knew he was interested, and any chick on the surface of this damn planet would have died to be in her place. But Megan was different: she disregarded his gifts and letters, and she repeatedly rejected him when he came up to ask her on a date. He even bought her a teddy bear!

So, someone would have thought that the plan was a failure, but Luke knew better: he knew that Megan was only playing hard to get, but she was irrevocably in love with him, and would soon have sex with him. How he knew?

First, Luke knew that when a girl said no, she actually meant yes. His dad had taught him that. “Son, females think they are special. They will be there, with their skimpy dresses and flashy makeup, saying they are not interested in a hunk like you. Don’t listen to them, they are trying to appear hard to get, but they will fall to their knees one you bring them a flower.” His dad has said sipping some vodka, sprawled on his chair, while a nine-years-old Luke was playing with some Legos.

Second, Megan had suddenly taken an interest in what he did. It was like flipping a switch, like she had realised something. And Luke knew she had realised she was in love with him. She had asked him if he wanted to have a study session with her, and Luke knew what she meant with ‘study’. No matter if it was at that supposed club she frequented, Luke was certain Megan finally realised she loved him so much that she couldn’t wait to have sex with him, no matter if it was at school.

So, this leads us to the situation Luke was now in. Megan had texted him to meet her in the abandoned classroom her club was at, and not to bring any books or pens: she had all what they needed. But Luke was a smart guy, so he brought condoms anyway, just to be sure. She had asked him not to tell anyone of their encounter, and Luke had been okay with this request. He would’ve talked to his friends about it later anyway. When the last bell rang, Luke had sprinted towards that classroom, but he didn’t knock on the door until he looked at himself on the phone’s camera app, passing a hand through his hair. He looked fine.

When Megan finally opened the door, Luke was surprised. She was wearing a black tracksuit and her hair was up in a bun. She had put away her glasses, and Luke was surprised to think that he liked her better with them on. It wasn’t anything like the movies. He expected Megan to dress herself at least a bit revealing, not like she was at home doing cleaning chores.

“Hey Luke, I was waiting for you, please come in.” she had the tiniest smile on her face, which was weird to see, since Megan had always a poker face in all situations. Luke had reduced Megan to a scrambling mess, and she would do anything for him. He smirked.

“Yo, Meggie, how it’s going?” he entered the classroom. The room was slightly illuminated, practically dark, the windows were covered by some bed sheets. Jeez, was Megan so shy she had to cover the whole classroom so he wouldn’t see her naked? That’s some prude behaviour right there!

“You know, nothing new, just working on a project. How about you, Luke? Please, sit down.” said boy was looking at the math book put on a desk. She really thought they were going to study? He heard Megan search for something in her schoolbag, but he didn’t bother to turn around, she was probably looking for some paper sheets and some pens. He drummed his finger on the book.

“Just, ya know, been looking forward to have some time alone with you.” He said, smirking. “You are one hard to get” he heard I sigh. Probably the wind outside.

“So I’ve heard” she hummed “And you are also a hard one to get alone, don’t blame it on me. I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.”

Luke couldn’t have been happier. So she had confessed! Oh, this was awesome, she’s falling right into his genius trap. “Really? Couldn’t have guessed. You were so bitchy the first time I talked to you.”

“Yeah, well, that was before Anne made me realise something I didn’t immediately thought about.”

“Anne? Really? What did she make you realise?” Megan was right behind him, he could feel her breath against his back (she was at least a head smaller than him, and she couldn’t even reach his shoulders). Luke turned, and he saw Megan looking up to him with her arms behind her back. “That I would be a fantastic sex partner and you were too stupid not to notice?”

Megan looked up at him dead serious in the eyes, the little smiles she wore before long forgotten. Her eyes were dull, and they were looking at him like he was an insect and Megan was the shoe that was going to kill him.

“Something like that” It wasn’t Megan that was talking. Luke freezed and looked up, only to see Anne and Sammy right behind Megan. They were dressed in the same way Megan was, and they were looking nonchalantly at him. What the fuck were they doing here?! He would’ve asked Megan, but something was slammed against his ankles, and he feel onto the ground with a thud. Luke looked up in shock, only to see Megan with a baseball bat in her hands and a crazy look into her eyes.

“Hey! What do you think you’re doing?!” Luke tried to stand, but was shoved down by Sammy, who pinned him to the ground with his foot. Megan smirked a little bit. “Let him go Sammy, I want to see if he tries to escape.” Then, he felt his ankles break under the baseball bat Megan had slammed onto them. Luke screamed and tried to get away from the three figures. Luke tried to stand up, with no success, so then he tried to crawl towards the exit of the classroom. He almost got to the door, he almost got to push it, when he felt some hands on his injured ankles bringing him back in front of Megan. He screamed in a mix of horror, fear, and pain. “What are you doing, are you crazy?!”

Megan didn’t respond, but only offered the bat to Anne, looking at her calmly and lovingly, meanwhile the other girl was giving her some type of bottle with a napkin. “Hey, listen to me, this is batshit crazy! Just let me go, I won’t tell anyone. Is-is this because of the plan?! D-dude that is shit from the past, I won’t bother you again, I swear, I will go around and say I was the one obsessed. I-I- Do you want money?! I can give you some. Or-or do you want protection, to get revenge, a – fucking, I don’t know – do you want to pass this year without studying?! I can do it for ya, my dad can pay for it.” Luke was looking frenetically between the two girls and the boy, heaving and spitting. “For all the three of you.”

Again, he was ignored by Megan, which began to put the substance in the bottle on the napkin. “Please, Meg, make him shut up, I can’t stand to hear his bullshit.” Sammy asked his sister, which, in return, gave him the napkin, smiling dangerously at him. “Please, be my guest, I can’t hear any other word coming from that shitty hole that is his mouth.”

Sammy smirked and came up behind Luke and putting the napkin onto his mouth. Luke begun thrashing, trying to scratch and push Sammy away, but the boy seemed weak, but he was actually deadly strong. For a minute, Luke hoped Sammy would let go, saying it was only a prank, something to scare him off, and to never show himself again in front of the three of them. But it was only for a minute, before the darkness had taken over Megan’s smirking face in front of him.
