The cycle of living in poverty continued until Rose changed her destiny and her future. Rose had three goals in her life to fulfill: to get a college education, to find and bring to justice her mental tormentor, and to seek revenge on the man responsible for her grandfather’s death.
Life in 1957 rural Orangeburg, South Carolina was unbearable and brutal for Rose. As an abused child, she endured many hardships growing up in a poor family. As an adult, she encountered and faced the numerous hidden psychological scars of her younger years with tragic consequences….
