"I loved how you experimented with repetition and narrative. People often underestimate the amount of nuance details can bring to a story-- whether it be backtracking to the brother and his interactions with people, or revisiting the past and sharing instances about the mother. The last couple of lines were especially poetic. Lovely."

"Reading a breathtaking story about maternal love is rare on inkitt. You can relate with it. I am not sure if it is based of a real story, I will never know. But as a daughter myself, I can tell you that similar situation is faced by many girls from their mother. The condescending roller coaster relationship of a mother - daughter pair is beautifully described. Even though many a times they fail to show their love, somewhere inside we know that they love us. Its just a matter time when you realise it. This story is an accurate portrayal of that journey."
