Chapter 1 Game Night
“You girls should have known better than to play cards against us, now hold’em and show’em, or fold’em and weep, ’cause we gotcha beat.” Zayn and Simon slammed their cards on the table and laughed.
Ta’miah and Tessa looked at each other, shrugged and said, “What the hell?” and laid their cards on the table. Zayn glanced over at Simon. They both grinned and said, “Pay up ladies.”
“Okay, okay,” Tessa said. The two of them whispered something in each other’s ears, then Ta’miah turned to the guys and said, “Alright, next Saturday is Valentine Day. If you can wait till then, Tessa and I promise the both of you a Valentine Day that you will never forget.”
