~ PROLOGUE ~

"On my way chief." Jonathan Hatfield hung up the phone, sighing. Wonder what case I have now. He ponders. He pulls into a police station driveway, exits his vehicle, and enters the station. a tall, black, blond hair man, walks over to him. "Ah, Detective Hatfield. Follow me" Jonathan follows the man to his office and they both sit down. "So we have re-opened the case on your wife. We put you, as a way to give you the chance of revenge, on the case. Its limited though." Jonathan looked at the man, in shock. "B-But Chief Conner-" "Sorry Detective Hatfield." Jonathan Sighs, "How long?" "20 weeks." Jonathan nods, "Alright." Jonathan gets up to leave, "Oh, and Hatfield?" "Yes sir?" The chief sighs "Goodluck and be safe. You're our best detective, we can't afford to lose you." Jonathan smiled, "Don't worry chief I will"

As jonathan pulls up to the house where his wifes body was found, he starts getting painful flashbacks. Well, this is where it all started.. painfully.. He exits his car and makes his way to the front door. 2 years ago when it happened, the house was blocked off, yellow police tap surrounding it. A year after Faiths murder, the house was renovated and out up for sale, it was now being used.

He went up an knocked, a few moments later a woman, seemingly in her 20s, opened the door. "Yes, how may I help you?" The girl asks "Detective Hatfield. I work for CPD (California Police Department)." The womans eyebrow goes up "Why are you here?" "Im working the case of Faith Hatfield, my wife. She was murdered 2 years ago, in this very house. I'm here to see if there is any evidence that might assist with the case." The woman hesitated before moving out of the way to let Jonathan inside.
