Chapter 1
It was a nice Saturday morning and I asked my mother “can we go camping for the weekend?” Mom said “Sure! Why not?! Let's pack.” I jumped with excitement. After packing we left and parked at the camping site in a dark eerie forest, it was cold there I said while shivering “Woo hoo camping.” Father pitched the tent and sent me to get campfire wood. I was walking through the deep dark forest. I heard a woman screaming to help me from a few meters away.
I heard closely it was my mother. I ran in that direction and found her unconscious on the ground. I got her back to the campsite and called father, he saw fang marks on her neck. We got her to the doctor as soon as possible. The doctor thought it was a snake bite and put a band-aid on and gave her medicines. She got better in a few months.
She told us everything in a weak tone “I was collecting acorns. I felt an ice-cold hand on my shoulder. I turned behind to have a look, I saw a tall man wearing deep black clothes blood dripping from his mouth. He dragged me to a cave and whoosh bit me after that I don’t remember a thing except when I woke up in the hospital.”
I gasped and said, “I think the person who bit you was not a person but a vampire.” Mom said, “There’s no such thing as vampires.” “But mom everything cold, fangs, bit on the neck, etc.” I worriedly said. Mom said, “maybe yes.” I said confidently “I am going to find that vampire and teach him some manners.” Mom worriedly said, “Dear don’t go alone.” “I have to,” I said and left. I was in the same forest. I went in the direction in which mom was collecting acorns at night.
In a little while, I also felt an ice-cold hand on my shoulder. I turned around and confidently said “Aha! I knew you would come. I know you are the one who bit my mom.” He said “You know huh!? Oh ok, now it’s your turn.” I shivered and said “What?! My turn?!” He said, “Yes your turn to get bitten and sadly no one can save u.” I was shivering with fear and he had an evil smirk on his face. I said, “Pls don’t hurt me.” He said, “anyone who steps into this forest never gets out alive except for your mother the doctor helped but, not u.” He cackled evilly. I screamed for help but knew it was of no use and my phone’s battery was dead not being able to call someone.
I felt it was a mistake confronting a vampire. I cried my heart out begging him to spare me but, he didn’t budge. I said while crying “Pls spare me! I promise I will never enter this forest again.”
