Chapter 1: “The start of the roadtrip”
“it was a wild ride.” “For him.” Me, Karl and George got into the car and put on our seatbelts. Sapnap and Big Q got in the car next, Big Q in the passenger seat and Sapnap in the driver's. George lays his head on my lap and tries not to fall asleep.
Karl then tries not to be awkward but leans on me as well. Which I don't mind as he's asexual. So I know he's not trying to get that close.
George looks at my phone which I'm texting Drista on, but clearly taken it the wrong way. Sapnap was already driving so I knew he wasn't going to just walk out.
And instead says “Who's Drista?” to which I have to explain, “oh, she's my sister.” he then nods and continues watching my phone screen, making sure I'm not “lying” which, of course, is “such a George-like thing to do.”
Karl, George and I have small conversations during the ride but I'd say the most embarrassing part was the part where Karl and George almost kissed.
This makes me furious. Karl and George are talking while I'm scrolling on Twitter, not paying much attention when all of a sudden I hear..
Heatwaves by “glass animals.” The first thing I see while being forced to listen to it is Karl and George getting close.
