The Dream

A man stood alone in an expanse of white nothingness. “Hello?” he asked softly.

“Hello, John.” said an ancient looking man who appeared before him. He wore dark robes with what appeared to be stars undulating in a vibrant galaxy.

“W-who are you?” asked John.

The elderly man ignored his question. “Do you love your wife?” asked the old man.

“Of course,” answered John without hesitation.

The old man made a pained smile. “Then, I hope you intend to keep your promises,” he said.

John looked at the old man quizzically. “Promises?” he asked.

The man disappeared and John’s world flared a blinding phosphorous white.

I honestly did not love Dev, he had no character growth and no arc I just didnt like who he is as a person and that made it hard to keep going about half way through. Without Jaspers ...

NN: It got me from chapter 1. I’m sad it ended, but I loved the whole story. It was very emotional to read parts of it, and the dynamics, characters, and plot twists were amazing. I’d like to have an epilogue... 10years from now. What happened to Dewey? Even Jordan hahahaha

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
