The hunger games, game 1

After the capital won the war the districts had to sign a treaty. All district did as told but 13. They refunded to sign so they got bombed.

With signing the treaty the capital had every district give 1 boy and 1 girl to fight to the death. It was called The hunger games.

Blake-

" This is outrageous we helped the capital but we still have to get the punishment." , Blake yelled at the tv as he through the remote. Tomorrow was the reeping and a supply of weapons came into the district.

Blake told his sister Angie that he was going to the academy to fight with some older kids. As he walked through the district he saw how wealthy they were. He was 16 and in 2 years he would become a peacekeeper.

He got the the academy and today they were working on sword fighting. He went with his friend Jaden. They sparred for about 2 hours before they switched to knife throwing. "Bet you can't hit that target." said Blake as he pointed to the smallest target on the farthest board.

" Challenge accepted." Yelled Jaden as others started to watch. With one sharp throw Jaden hit the target straight in the middle " Beat that Blake" Jaden said arrogantly. As Balke through he noticed that his knife hit the end the knive that Jaden had thrown. "Tie." They both said. After that everyone when home to rest up.

Jaden-

After the long day of fight she went home. I can't wait for tomorrow Jaden thought. As she got home she could tell their was something off. Usually one of her parents was talking on the phone wile the other was cooking but neither of them were here.

As Jaden walk through the empty house she went to her room. As she opened the door, "Surprise! Happy birthday Jaden" Her parents screemed. Jaden had forgotten that July 3 was her birthday. They partyed late that night.

The next day

As Jaden woke up she found her usual black t-shirt and Jean's. Her parents were asleep on the couch. Jaden walked around the neighborhood as she went to wake up Blake.

Blake bed was close to his window and the front door was always unlocked. Jaden Grabed a bowl and filler it with cold water. She went up to Blake's room, opened the window and splashed Blake. He shot up and look angrily out the window to see Jaden with the bowl. "Why the hell would you do that." Blake said as his anger began to boil. Jaden replied, " Easiest way to wake you up."

As he got dressed he reminded Jaden that today was the reeping. Everyone was starting

to make their way to the town square. They quickly ran and found their seats on different sides of the enclosure. Mayor Gunther went up on stage and dug his hand into a bowl full of tiny bits of paper. "Jaden Prow please come to the stage" the mayor said into the microphone. Jaden slowly went to the stage as the mayor called out, " Blake Whitejaket please come to the stage as well." As the two friend looked at each other they knew that they were in this together.
