Summary

Shifter Games aka underground fights between several types of shifters as their Masters bet on who will win. Willow Van Laren is a human just trying to skate by on a mediocre job all while staying sane dealing with her drug addicted sister, gambling father, and credit card debt mother. She keeps to herself and prefers to be alone except when she's with her best friend, Naomi. But, when Naomi drags Willow in an underground fighting rink her world is changed forever. Willow catches a glimpse of humans morphing into animals and then back again. There, she meets Jackson Carroway, a Shifter with a dark past and an even darker Master. He becomes instantly protective of Willow and all for good reason. A human female standing in a room full of male Shifters is quite dangerous and one who discovered their frightening world. While that may come as a shock, Willow finds out Naomi is a Mage, the daughter of an infamous leader in their underground world. Deception, intrigue, loyalty, and love are all tested when Willow must decide to stay in their world for those she trusts or make the heartbreaking decision to leave, forgetting all about the people she loves. In Ramshorn, there's a lot that goes on but what happens in the shadows should stay in the shadows according to Willow Van Laren.
