"Hi there I have to admit that I have not read all of this book. That is simply because it is not the style of book I think I can usefully pass comment on. However, what I did read I read with enthusiasm. I am thoroughly engaged with all the characters and although I generally don't like fiction with the present tense, I had no difficulty in coping with it here, I found myself transported to High School - and, being a Brit with no experience of an American High School, that is some skill in writing, I have absolutely no faults I can point out and I am sure it would be a thoroughly good read for anyone who can relate to this, hence the ratings, A thoroughly good job - you don't have to read the whole of a work to appreciate that there is a genuine talent here. Fantastic Novel
"I already read it and this story is so awesome. The way the autor describes the scenery the characters, the romanticism. is so eye catching and the sequel Risen is even beautiful. I really love the main character Clara, her inner conflicts and her determination that adquires with the time to fullfil her purspose to save humanity. Also love how funny is Adam, Jay and the rest of the characters. I don't see grammar problems but the plot is well planned and the author took great time to plan it and write it carefully. Fully recommended. "

"Awesome!!!! Awesome!!! Best fantasy book I read in years and from this site!!! Good job on your writting!!! Please continue another one and lets hope Jared and Luke find someone... hopefully. When an author can take you into a another world and make you feel for these people and you can vividly see them in your head and you talk about them as if they're real after. Then that's when you have a good book. Though the giant joke grew old, my favorite was when she was looking up into the sky the moment before she met Jared. Oh my gosh!! and where you would put a comma and ended it with a period oh whatever.It was great writting on your part and dang it I wish I would have been a part of that group...Dang it!! CURSE THESE AWESOME BOOKS!!!HAHA-yeah...you should read it for yourself. My work here is done-bye. Until next time when I read the 2nd.Bye!!!"

"While it was a good read, it does need a lot of editing. Spelling errors and misplaced words are just a few things. But, it was a good read for all that and I can't wait for the sequel. I was really eorried for Clara and her friends. The end is questionable. "
Couldn't put it down!
"I really loved this book! You did many things I definitely wasn't expecting, which I find rare nowadays. There was a bit of grammatical errors, but that can be easily fixed. I can't wait to read the next one!!! The cliff hanger kills me!!! Oh, and I think Jared and Luke are the best!!!"
Way Cool
"This is an awesome story. I loved it. It captured my attention right from the first chapter and wouldn't let me go. I loved the witty sarcasm of the main character and she had me laughing on more than one occasion. The story itself still needs some further development and "fleshing out" in order to iron out some of the plot wrinkles and really bring it to its fullest potential. There were also some spelling and grammar issues throughout the story but they did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the story at all. I really, really enjoyed this novel and look forward to continuing the story. Well done!"
Interesting
"Good story. Can't find the sequel. But I will keep looking. Got to find out how it all ends. There are a lot of the "coming of age and finding special powers" stories. I am hoping this one can be edited into something that is a "cut above" the others. "

Magic and Humans
"This novel does not really add much to the realm of magic and humans as it builds upon the notion that humans will be afraid of magic that which they do not understand as well as the central divide amongst magic users to help or destroy the humans. Additionally, the grammar needs some work, but can easily be cleaned up. Furthermore, the reader can become acquainted with Clara rather easily if they can relate to being bullied constantly as well as wishing for a better life of which magic then comes to the rescue."
