The Nightmare begins
Prologue
In a dark age in which knights and soldiers were wandering lost souls, in the deep, dark mist forest, there was a castle that was covered in a dark cloud of smoke. There lived a princess with long, curly blue hair with black ends. She was very beautiful; her eyes were dark blue and sparkled like the sea.
Her name was Lexi Lazio, and she was only 20 years old. She spent most of her time in the library with all her books studying magic spells, which were forbidden to her; even the high ones were more out of bounds than the others.
Lexi’s father, Zion, was the king of the forgotten lands. He had short hair and white eyes. He was very fond of his daughter. He treated her really well. On the other hand, her stepmother was the opposite. After her mother died, her father remarried a rich woman who was hateful and cruel.
She had twin daughters with long hair, like their mother, who had different colours. Their names were Cross and Freya. Cross had black hair, and her eyes were red like blood. As for Freya, she had long blond hair and purple eyes. They bullied her cruelly with their first and last words. They would kick her, punch her, and call her name every time their mom was there.
She flinched every time she felt pain in her body. That makes them wonder if it was coincidental that they told their mother that Lexi was bullying them. Her stepmother would have beaten Lexi for it. Even the butlers were scared of the lady of the house. Her name was Divine.
She had long purple hair that dangled from her shoulders. Her eyes were a light, icy green that could stop anyone in their tracks. She was not at all like the others. Her daughters were just like her—evil and heartless.
Chapter One: “The Nightmare Begins”
It was a cold winter morning. Lexi was the first one up, preparing breakfast for her father, stepmother, and stepdaughters. She looked at her stepmother coming into the kitchen. Devine looked at her with an amusing look, then sat down. “Why are you up so early?” she asked. “Did you sleep with the pigs again?” Lexi’s head went down as she clenched her, fist tightly on her dress while her daughters came in to see her.
An evil smile came on their faces as they saw her. They spoke: “Mother, has Lexi been sleeping with the pigs again?” as her stepsisters chuckled to themselves. While they were laughing at Lexi, there was one thing that they didn’t know: Lexi had a split personality.
Lexi had her good and bad side. Her eyes would change a different colour with her personality, every time someone annoyed her or if she wasn’t in a good mood. They stared at her, A smile came on her face, and she lifted her head with her eye’s closed, breathing out. She opened her eyes, revealing that her eyes had changed to a misty light blue colour. She said, “Freya, why are you stepping away from me?” You were so confident before, and now you are so silent, which is a shame because I was expecting another sacrilegious remark or another insult coming from your mouth. ”
They looked at their mother. Both of them were startled at the fact at what they witnessed: Lexi responding back with an attitude. Before she could do anything, her father came in and saw her. She quickly put something in her mind to stop the other side of herself from taking over. Lexi’s eyes turned normal. She asked, “What’s going on?” Freya looked at them again as they sat down to eat dinner.
Lexi thought of her mother, who had passed away when she was little. It was as if a sharp knife had pierced the middle of her heart, which could never be replaced. She finished breakfast and went to choose her clothes for the morning since her stepmother was busy. Lexi had to take responsibility for the house. She took the big basket of laundry outside, put it down, and took a bucket and brush to fill it with hot water and soap to wash their clothes. She put it down on the floor as she started to wash her father’s clothes with her stepmother and her daughters.
She enjoyed the peace and quiet, which she especially enjoyed while the birds were singing. Not only that, but she hung the wet washing out to dry as she carried the bucket and brush into the house with the basket. She got ready to pick some apples from the grove. Furthermore, she packed a lunch for herself and a book and set off walking down the path she worked on to see a dark path near which she chose to be cautious. Back at the house, her stepmother spoke: “Freya, I want you to go and follow Lexi.” I wanted to know where she was going to cross into town to find out what happened to make her change. We need to make sure we are ready this time. ”
She nodded, closing the door behind her while their stepmother was up to no good.
Lexi started to pick apples to make an apple pie for her dad when she got home. She was humming as she took them in her hand as a person spoke, “Well, well, is this a lady I see before me?” She turned to see a man with red eyes and long, jet black hair. He was wearing a uniform that was all black with gold pins and ribbed cuffs to match his tie. His red eyes felt like they were scanning her from head to toe, which made her cheeks blush red. Likewise, he came out of the bushes, babbling as he walked to her. She looked at him as he continued to speak. “May I ask why a beautiful lady like yourself is alone in the forest at this time?”
She looked at him with a serious face and replied, “I’m here to pick apples to bake an apple pie for when my father gets back from work, so if you will excuse me, I’m busy.” Her face turned quite abruptly. He smiled with a smirk, as if the man had never been rejected before by a woman. He was quite interested in this woman. The man walked in front of her, stopping her from going anywhere. He was flirty. He said, “At the very least, give me your name so I can remember it.” Lexi looked at him with a serious expression, which put him on guard.
She tried to walk past him, but he kept blocking her way. He continued, “Are you not going to tell me your name, pretty lady?” As he leans against her, Lexi’s face turns red with a shy expression as her eyes gaze into his. She paused as she pulled back her hair with a small, petted hand. “No now. If you would excuse me, I have to get back to the house before my father gets back.
She tripped anciently over a rock, nearly dropping the apples as he ran, grabbing her. She blushed as he gave Lexi a kiss. Her cheeks turned bright red. She closed her eyes. A moan left her mouth. She felt like she was nervous and scared while his hand moved to her waist, which made her feel uncomfortable about being beside a tree.
Freya was watching the whole thing. She gritted her teeth as her thoughts spoke, “Why is it that Lexi gets all the attention while I am with my mom and sister?” I will make you pay for this pig, girl. I will be telling my mom what happened today. She turned around as they finished kissing to see a figure who had knocked her out and kidnapped her, not knowing it was one of her mom’s spies. As they finished kissing, she picked up her apple and turned to run home. The man looked at her and said, “We meet again.”
When Lexi returned, she put the apples down and filled the sink with hot, soapy water, remembering the deep kiss she had just had, which made her blush. She ran up to her room to find her stepmother and crossed downstairs, looking at each other with a worried expression. Cross shrugged her shoulders as she went to check on Freya. Cross knocked on her door while she came in to see Freaya asleep.
She smiled as she opened her eyes to see Cross come to sit by her. Back downstairs, the door opened to see Lexi. He hugged her tightly, which made her smile. Her stepmother watched to see if her daughter was smiling. She despised Lexi, seeing her so happy.
She had to have a plan to get her father on her side, which would take a lot of work. Her face darkened. Both her daughters came down with smiles on their faces. Furthermore, her face smiled as she spoke, “Oh, husband.” Her face went down as her father’s faces changed. She tried to explain herself to her father.
Her stepmother put something in her father’s mind that would make her control him. Erix drank it as she placed her fingers on his temple. “Can you let me explain?”
He turns with an angry face and replies, “You ungrateful girl, what kind of woman are you?” I did not bring you up to cause me trouble. Now you’re just like your mother—a tramp. It’s time for you to start learning the hard way of life. You will clean the house from bottom to top. Then my wife and daughters will have you clean their rooms. After you finish, then in a week or two, I will kick you out of the house. You’re lazy. You need more independence. Then go up to your room. ”
Lexi wiped her eyes full of tears as her stepmother grinned happily as she ran down the stairs. She slammed the door.
Lexi put her hands in her lap with her face full of tears. Furthermore, she started cleaning the house from top to bottom, feeling exhausted with all the work she had done.
Not only that, but she went upstairs to her room and fell asleep. She thought in her mind that she had to pack her bags and leave the house to find somewhere to live and also take revenge on her evil stepmother and her two nasty daughters. She was very tired. Not only that, her tears started to become very dry.
She had packed her suitcase with her clothes. Lexi took out her suitcase from underneath her bed, placed it on the bed, and started to pack her belongings with all her accessories, zipping it up, placing the handle in her right hand, starting to walk out the door to the stairs, lifting her suitcase with Lexi’s hands, Seeing that she was exhausted from lack of sleep, she sat down to have a rest.
The only thing she heard were footsteps. She picked herself up and started to walk again, toward the forest, feeling dizzy. The only thing Lexi could clearly see was the shadow of a young man from early. He saw her, running to her, feeling her head, which was blasting hot with fever.
He grabbed her, placing Lexi on the horse and grabbing her suitcase off the round wooden floor. He lifted himself up on the horse’s kick to say, Let go. I rode to the village with her to get her some help. He rushed to get her to the village on time to see an inn open. He hit the door with his fist, sounding like a sword with a shield. The door opened. He said, “Sorry to bother you.” I found this girl on the floor. She has a cold. ”
She moved out of the way, letting him in. He walked up the stairs, putting her on the bed. He gave the woman orders to take off her clothes. He felt uncomfortable, so he left the room. Waiting for her to finish, he walked in to see Lexi with a red face.
He was wondering why she was out in the rain for her to get a cold like this. He was caring for her when he said, “Come on, you’re strong; don’t let this cold beat you.” Lexi’s eyes opened to see the young man in front of her. She moved slowly, noticing he was staring at her. Lexi said, “This is the second time we have met.” You have a fever. I found you in the forest. Why were you out in the rain? ”
Lexi’s eyes filled with tears as she placed her head in his lap. He knew something was wrong. He continued to speak, ”What happened?” “Why are you crying? Did something happen back at your house? ” Lexi lifted her face to see tears streaming down her cheeks. He continued to speak as she walked to Lexi. “What happened to that smile?” “This lovely girl this morning, why are you so sad?”
She looked at him with a nervous expression. She repiled, “I ran away from home because I have a horrible stepmother and her daughters bully me.” Now they have done something to my dad. I don’t know what I thought. I have nowhere to go now. He lifted his chin, leaning toward Lexi with a deep kiss. She moaned, closing her eyes with a flushed red face. Lexi could feel her dress being undone with his hand while he hand a cross her big chest, making her grab the blankets falling to her on the bed while he undressed her to see her curved body with her chest tempting him to shuck them.
He was staring at her from her chest to her privates. He slowly leaned towards Lexi’s body, making her cover her eyes. He kissed her and put her hands around him, moving one finger down to her privilege, the other playing with one of her red nipples. He was playing with her body like a harp, hitting all the sharp spots that made her moan even more, which made him move even more. She stopped him .
She spoke, “Hi hotness, I’ve been playing with my body like what you see.” He gave Lexi a fated smile at the fact that this was his first time seeing her other side. He flirtily replied, “Oh yes, this is the first time I’ve seen you like this.” I’m not sure who you are but . I know you met a sweet girl this morning. ” He cut her off, kissing her, grabbing her chest with exactitude, and holding her around his neck, which made him react.
He placed her on the bed, entering her, making her moan. He began to suck on her chest, which made them even hotter. Not only that, but turning positions on the bed, moving his waist, hearing a different moan while stuck on her chest like a straw. Both of them clasped the bed. He looked at her, knowing he would keep her. She stood up with the blanket on herself.
She covered herself as she put some new clothes on, placing the old ones on the floor. He looked at her with his bright eyes. He spoke nervously, “Where are you going?” and “Are you still not going to tell me your name?” She looked at him with a pessimistic look that made his face change. She replied, “No, my other side says we will tell you our names when the time is right.” For now, I need a horse to ride to the next town.
He looked at me and nodded, giving an annoyed expression, before walking towards the door. He opened it, walking out with an angry face. She followed him with her black boots to the stable. Seeing all the beautiful horses, there were white ones, black ones, and brown ones. It was like heaven. She looked at their eyes. In their eyes, she could see trust, loyalty, and courage. She placed her hand on each of them, looking for one that would never leave her walking back to the white ones she chose. She smiled, taking the strap to open his gate to let him out. She smiled with a grin as she climbed onto the horse.
She said, “We met again.” Don’t worry. She hit the ranges as the horse rode away. He smiled with a grin. She chose a good horse, and he returned to their duties. It was almost night, Shadow. Her name was still on the move to the next town. She didn’t stop for a break until she felt tired. She stopped the horse for a drink. She started to look around the places, thinking about how far she thought the town was. The place where she stopped had nice, clean water, so she could have a wonderful bath. She also needed some armour that expressed her personality, which would be great if it was of a shadow design so she could take it to a blacksmith forge for her.

It feels like this story could be promising plot-wise, but the sentence structure is all over the place. I had a lot of problems following along with what was supposed to be happening. Revision would be your best friend to boost the technical level up to the plot's potential.
