SHORT STORY
As a joke, I dialed my own number and was shocked as someone picked up and said, "Hello"?. How could this happen? Questions were running in my mind. Maybe it was me from parallel universe? or it was by mistake. I reached home hurriedly and went straight to my room and jumped on the bed trying to forget that incident. My parents were not home, I was home alone which made me even scared. I called my friend Ellie hoping talking would be much better. When she picked up and said, "Hello?", her voice I could sense sadness in it. Just when I was about to ask, she hung up on me as If she dialed s wrong number. Anyways, whatever, I am getting some rest. Next day my parents arrived. I was so happy to see them but, when they entered they acted I they didn't see me. Are they hiding something from me? Wait... Did.. Did I ... Become Invisible? I went and looked at the mirror and was shocked to see no figure was looking back at me. I was horrified. This explains why they've been ignoring me I thought, Saying that I went downstairs and heard My parents talking that, "Why should this happen to us?", We lost our one and only beloved daughter, crying. Wait what!?, I just realized I was 'DEAD'!.
