"Thank you to the author for a heartwarming, heartwrenching, good to the last word book. Your character's were awesome. please keep writing. What love and sadness and devotion. A true love story. It has all the makings for a movie. I wonder who would play these characters. I am a romantic at heart so this book hit me hard in my emotions. I cried so much. I held hope for a miracle. Thank you again."
I hate you

The journey of a Lifetime, in more ways than one!
"Leah thought that the turmoil in her life had come to an end. That is, until the boy-next-door who’s just moved in, turns out to be none other than her old childhood best friend, Damon. Rekindling their friendship, the two become inseparable and life seems perfect, until Leah learns a tragic secret; Damon is terminally ill and has only one more year to live. Leah and Damon decide to embark on an adventure to have the time of their lives and cross out every to-do on their ‘Bucket List’. With the clock ticking and time precious, will they be able to complete every goal before time runs out? What did I like? OMG I have found a new author to read…. This was the best book that I have read in ages in this genre. I became so emotionally involved with Leah and Damon and I cried till I almost had no more tears and then cried some more. WARNING: Have a big box to tissues! Crying aside, the writing was outstanding, the characters so real, the details right to the point, the descriptions made me feel like I was with them every moment of this journey. I really wanted another happy ending but I also see that for the book to be so incredible it had to be this way. Be sure to read the authors note at the end! What will you like? Characters that are so developed and will pull you into this journey and you will cheer, cry, laugh, blush and enjoy the hell out of them. A storyline that is so incredible that you will never want it to end but you know that it has too! I think the emotional roller coaster that the author takes us on, is in such a way that it lifelike but it is one that everyone of us pray that we never will have. We have all lost someone or several someone’s at some point in our lives so each of us know the fears and the devastation that Leah is going through. I personally have just lost a son, so I felt the loss of the mother and it hurt! I have also lost other loved ones and could feel the pain that Leah had. The way that Emily shows us that pain helps in a way to prepare many of us in a way that no one could know unless you have gone through something like it yourself but it’s here in this book. I highly recommend this book and even though I cried my eyes out, I still loved it and I am glad that I read it."
The Bucket List
"Reviewer: Teresa Fallen Angel Summary: It is hard to explain how this book effected me, but I will give it a try. Damon and Leah's earlier lives were abruptly changed forcing them apart and it was only chance that they met again five years later. Damon was strong enough to tell tell Leah upfront that he was dying giving her the choice to be his friend again, but to Leah there was no choice. Her love for him grew out of a friendship form early childhood. Where many people would have walked away she chose to remain at his side. Her idea of a bucket list gave him the chance to live out his wildest dreams, giving both of them experiences few people would ever know. Watching someone slowly die before your eyes is horrible, but Leah was strong enough to be their for Damon in ways many couldn't imagine. With all of that said, this was an inspiring, funny, romantic story of an ending and a beginning. I hope that this story touches and inspires others to learn to take each day as if it were your last filling them with love, laughter, and all that life has to offer."

Simply phenomenal
"Wow what do I say after reading this story. There are not words it is engaging at every turn I love the characters and the story line is top-notch. Thank you for writing such an exceptional story. For any editor who is reading this I don't care how many read this story is getting it needs to be published. People out there to see messages like this about treasuring people before it's too late and say things we are afraid to say and conquering our fears and stepping out of our comfort zone. This book is well worth the read I would recommend it to anyone no matter who you are what stage of life you're at you will get something from this book."

"So beautiful novel I really really loved it and got touched by it big time thanks for this beautiful great novel , i felt every character like they are living with me , the writing were so spontaneous and expersive,, i felt the hope of real unconditional love arise ,, Leah and Damon a two people who truly love and live without complications and struggles,, so inspiring how much a partner can make u love yourself more n discover the hidden potential in you and raise your self steam and help achieve your goals ,, very lucky in real life to have partners like that ,, it achieved the real aim of book is isolating you from your real life n their loads and make you travel with your senses with it and grow your imagination ,, i really wish it can be more n more famous or they can do it in a movie or something ... thank you for this novel and goodbye Damon and leah and seth and jenny i am going to miss you guys ... Ouch, dude.
"Wow. Just wow. This book made me feel so happy, and so sad. Two clashing emotions that change perspective. I enjoyed Damon and Leah's adventures, and felt their heartache when they came to an end. One thing that especially broke me was how they were unable to complete the bucket list. It's a great plot twist, and made me feel as sad and disappointed as they were. Both characters were badass and enjoyable, and I wish I were more like them. I was definitely changed finishing this book, because I never really understood love in the way Damon and Leah did, due to being a single Pringle. This book is spectacular, and if it's not already published, it needs to be. Everything flowed perfectly, and there were no bumps and scratches in the plot as I read this novel. "The Bucket List" is a comedy and a heartbreaker, and is sure to win over people's hearts for decades. "
The bucket list
"this book is one of the best and saddest book I have ever read. In the first few chapters, I thought it was going to be boring but I was proven wrong after Damon moved next door and after they made the list. I cried when Leah cried, laughed when she laughed and felt like I was part of her the more I read it and it nearly broke my heart when Damon said goodbye and when she was not responsive to anyone. I cried mostly when I read the letter and laughed mostly when they goofed around. This book is a must read. Its long but every chapter is worth reading. "

"This book was absolutely amazing. I can't put it in any better words. Any other book had me rushing through its paces to get to the end. Not this one. I savoured every word and I'm glad I did. For the first time reading a book, I cried. And being a boy, that is embarrassing as well as amazing. Making a boy cry from just words written on a screen is an almost impossible task. But it was achieved!! The excitement, laughter and sadness in the book was overwhelming. I couldn't read the last chapter of the book due to blurry eyes from the tears seeping out. I loved this book and I'm inspired by it. It made me realize how short life is and I hope to make a bucket list some day and see it complete. One request to the author of the book. Please make a sequel to it, maybe of Leah completing the bucket list she had made at the start. I would love to see that. Thanks for this amazing read. "
