Its good but too much

"The love story between the two make characters is good and wholesome but it feels like it takes a backseat in the whole book which isn’t good in a novel that’s supposed to be about the main characters falling in love. The book is too much. The author just adds way to many sides plots, characters and events and it makes it feel like the book has no core story. Its just a jumbled mess of god knows what. And the author’s writing comes of as juvenile and one note when discussing serious topics like infidelity, teen pregnancy, rape, suicidal thoughts and emotional trauma. There’s a-lot going on in the book, and in this case less would definitely be more. It gets tedious and boring when all you want is to watch natalie and beck fall in love but you have to waste your time on 200 extra pages of nothing and side plots."
