Summary

Manny’s home life had never been great. His father was an abusive drunk and his mother had basically become a basket case of emotions after Manny’s twin brother Danny was killed by a hit and run driver. After his father nearly beat his mom to death, she had moved him and his sister out to their grandparents house about 10 miles outside of Jackson. But Manny and Nadia still had to go to school. Nadia caught the bus but Manny rode his Yamaha SR 400, but he mainly did that so that he could see Cheryl. The first day of their sophomore year, Manny and Cheryl had met and dated exclusively since then. Now they are both seniors and due to graduate in a few weeks. That is until Manny’s father spotted him riding his bike home and Manny’s nightmare started all over again. Thankfully, he had heard about the MSMC and after taking a severe beating from his father, he managed to get in touch with Rooster and they rushed to save him. The same day they got the message from Manny, Rooster also received a message from a 14 year old girl who was being molested by her Pastor father. Thankfully they got to Sandy just minutes before her father found her and he went to jail while Rooster found her forever home at the Rescue Farm with Papa Joe and Mama Mae.

Book 5

Rescuing Sandy, Manny & Cheryl

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents either are the product of my imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, events, or locales is entirely coincidental because I used a map and a dart to pick out the original location.

Author’s Note to readers

When I started the MSMC it was going to be just one book but then it got so long that my computer was lagging and having all kinds of errors so I was forced to cut it into different parts. The entire series will make the most sense if you start with book 1 and read them in order. I’m not publishing any of it until the entire series is complete (I hate when authors leave you hanging). This story has multiple points of views and stories and they overlap each other the same way life does. I hope you enjoy it and will recommend it to others.
