Time

The lights flicker continuously and a faint rumble is felt throughout the house, all the while Charles paces around the room anxiously.

"Are we really just going to sit here and do nothing? We don't have much time! Guys!" Charles says frustrated by his friends sudden change of heart.

"Alright then! I guess we'll just sit right down and give up…fuck you guys." He finally said as he stormed out of the room.

Meanwhile in an underground tunnel in the year 1968, a group of teenagers are running from something, anything.

"Lay her down right there, Oh God! I sha hope they don't find us." Oluwadare says, I guess his nickname isn't the wimp for nothing.

"Alright! I think here's good enough. Aisha can you hear me? Okay. I'm going to need you to push. Can you do that for me? " Cassie asked as a weak and tired nineteen year old Aisha, who in turn just nodded a slow and weak yes.

"Okay that's good, 1…2…3 push! Again, push." This went on for about an hour and before they knew it, Aisha had to use her powers. The lights flickered and everything began to shake and rumble, they were going to be found, but…there was no other way.

As the kids in this timeline struggled to survive, the kids in 2027 were beginning to feel defeated.

"Why do I get the feeling you're not telling us everything?" Chibuike asked.

"Charles?! Charlie?!" As he said this Charles looked up defeat written all-over his face.

"It's started already, we're too late." Charles said cryptically.

"What's started already?" Chibuike asked, but Charles was interrupted as the lights began to burst and the house began to get cracks all over.

At Carter bridge in 1982

"Careful o! Don't go near the railing." Dare said as he smiled at his daughter.

"It's a beautiful day, isn't it." Cassie said, but as her husband turned to answer her, the bridge began to rumble, car horns went off, and the animals became restless.

"Amara! Come here fast! " Cassie shouted as she dragged her husband along with her.

Back in 1968,

"I can't, if i do it, who knows what might happen, they might find us or something even worse might happen." Aisha said as she struggled to pushed.

"Aisha! Listen to me, you can do this, I believe in you, who cares if they find us. Look you're the strongest and the bravest woman I know, we're in the middle of a war, but you're still thinking about us, we don't care, now push damnit!" Onyedika said as he watched his girlfriend struggle, finally letting go, she pushed and the lights began to burst and cracks formed all around them.

In 1982,

"Oh fuck!" Cassie screamed through her teeth, as a chunk of glass tore it's way through her calf muscle.

"Cassie! Are you alright?" Dare said before turning to Amara.

"Come and help me lift your mother up."

"Aisha! It's Aisha, remember the tunnels? It's her." Cassie said gasping as he helping her up a bit roughly.

"Relax, it's just an earthquake." Dare said as they kept running.

Back in the tunnels,

"They're going to find us!" Dare said fear glowing all around him.

"Breathe Dare, breathe. Now shut up and help will you!"

"Sorry! I'm just nervous." He replied looking at the floor meekly.

"Oh my god! What is that?" Onyedika said looking terrified and disgusted.

"Your child! Now hold her up! Just a little more Aisha! She said trying to sound relaxed, but failing miserably. Not long after a child is heard wailing.

"My child." Aisha said before vanishing in a flash of light.

"Aisha! My wife!" Onyedika said looking dazed and terrified.

"You have a child to protect! Onyedika!" Dare shouted.

"I need my wife, I have to find her." He said before vanishing in a flash of light.

Back at the uncompleted house in 2027,

"What aren't you telling us? Charles?" Amara asked as everyone gathered around him.

"I should've known he was going to tell you about it." Charles said smiling at Chibuike.

"They're coming." He just said looking at the door.

"Who's coming?" Amara asked, before a heavy hand pounded on the door.

"We know you're in there!" A man's voice said.

"They know we're here! What do we do? Mo?" Anna asked probably rhetorically, seeing as they shared a confused glance.

"Out of the way!" Chibuike shouted as he shot at the door.

"What the fuck! This is getting too real." Anna said, she'd soon hope the bathroom was closer than imagined, as a bullet had hit Charles.

"Blood! Is that blood? Oh I'm going to faint." She said gasping for air.

"Bloody hell! Oh I'm sorry." She kept saying awkwardly.

"Someone get her out of here!" Jane shouted as he checked Charles wound, the bullet had hit his chest.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, fuck no!" Chibuike said as he knelt beside Charles.

"You have to get out of here." He said as he struggled to breathe due to internal bleeding.

"Not without you, I'm sorry."

"Go! Get out of here!" Charles said staring into his eyes.

"Like I said not without you, now come on!" He was about to lift him up when he heard Charles snicker.

"I'm tired, now go! Someone get him out of here!" Charles said as he watched everyone run out the backdoor.

"I've lived." He said tiredly, his eyes tearing up, pain turning into nothingness as he vanished into a flash of light as soon as the agents got in.

"Shit! Sir, we've lost one of them, the rest seem to be on foot." The agent said speaking into his walkie talkie.

Meanwhile in 1982,

"Mummy I feel sick!" Amara said falling to the ground.

"What's happening?" Dare asked himself, as Amara vanishes into thin air.
