The king was already married to a coldhearted woman named Anith, when he met the girls’ mother, Zorthin. He thought Zorthin was a beautiful young woman, with long brown hair, golden eyes, and a smile that could melt the coldest of hearts, she was brilliant, and kind-hearted as well. He had wanted children when he first married Anith, a young blonde, petite woman. She had told him she didn’t like kids though and declined his decision to start a family, so he had decided to provide the kingdom with a future king or queen, he would need to have an affair. He knew it was wrong, but he knew that if something ever happened to him and his wife, the kingdom would need someone to take over. Preferably someone in the same bloodline.
One day the king had decided to go into the village, to the bakery where Zorthin worked and lived, to make a deal with her. He had told her that his wife had said no to having a family and that it would be wise to start a family in the village, hidden from Anith. That way they could someday take over the kingdom. He told her that he chose her to be the mother of his children. But he also said that no one could know that the children belonged to him. Zorthin agreed.
She has three children, all of which are girls. She named the eldest Grace, the second eldest Harte, and the youngest Mya.
