Great story
"Needs a bit of editing but otherwise great read"
Must Read
"This book is really good, the plot is there and ready, and the suspense is oh so lovely. I'm a huge picky ready and this book is something I could binge. There may be some commas missing and chunky paragraphs {I do slim paragraphs, that's how I write so could be disregarded.} Honestly, they are easy to look over as you read this, it's not too fast but it ain't too slow either. Quick recommendation when writing instead of, "and poof they were gone", instead try, " and then. poof! They were gone." However, I would ask someone better at writing than me. Never stop writing, I love this book."
Solid Start
"I think this story has a wonderful plot and foundation. It is highly engaging and interesting and different. Siya is an MC any reader can get behind and become attached to, but she is often overshadowed by the immense amount of information related to world building or constant introduction of all other supporting characters in each chapter. I fully believe with some love and attention, this author can make Siya shine through and turn into the main focus of the story. Once she does, I think the world building will follow. Everything doesn't need to be explained up front and keeping an air of mystery will keep the readers engaged from start to end. Grammar is something that will come with rereads and rewrites. I do suggest looking at the adjectives that are used to express how a character is feeling because some feel out of character or out of place. In a commonly calm conversation, there would suddenly be an adjective stating that one of the characters "roared" at the other, which can pull the reader from the story with the abruptness of it. Another thing I challenge the author to work on is refraining from phrase like "So, back to the story" or "Let's see what the cousins are thinking". I would love to see these phrases turned into explanations and descriptions to "show" what the cousins are thinking or add in a bit more chapters to stand for the breaks between one scene and another. All in all, this is a great start and I am excited to see what the author can do with it. Keep writing! I look forward to more."
