"Love this story! Family, live, grief for loss, which includes the dead and living. They deal with loss and betrayal, some with good outcomes and some unsatisfying outcomes, very realistic. But the main characters make it work and support each other thru these challenges and come out so much better for each other and themselves."

"This book is one of the best I've read here or on any other platform. The plot is compelling, emotional and the way the writer expresses those emotions comes across perfectly. There are maybe a few typos and that is honestly the only negative I can think of. So many times in these books the authors try to create a conflict that feels quite frankly forced but in this book everything feels organic, natural no need to force moments. I strongly recommend you read this one but prepare to be pulled in emotionally "

"I’ve cried several times while reading. It’s such a relatable story. Yes Luca may have been a jerk at the beginning but that’s not who he truly is, it’s just a painful stone facade he wore over the years. He just needed the right person, Kit, to destroy that facade and inside lay a heart of gold but in the grips of a lot of pain and wrath. Luca reminds us the importance of letting go before it’s too late and to hold on to love and never let go. Kit is such an inspirational, formidable person and it was beautiful to witness the genuine, wholehearted relationship she and Luca have 💜😭"

"I knew what I was getting into when I started a book called A DYING Man's Wish but I was still so heartbroken at times during this book, but it was so worth it! I loved the chemistry between Luca and Kit. The steamy scenes were fire, the cute scenes were adorable, and the humor/nicknames had me smirking at my phone many times. "Father" and "Goldie" in particular. (I read the book elsewhere, so Inkitt will likely tell you I haven't completed it)"
