Introductions

Well, if you know of the nine galaxies, then I'm sure you know of the war between Hopes Peak and Avangeline. Two rival planets, as Avangeline had wanted to take over Hopes Peak for hundreds of years. However, our story starts in the most unassuming place ever. A small planet called earth, nestled far away from galactic wars or life shattering legends. This, is where our story begins.

Shuichi's life kind of stunk. Shuichi was an orphan, he had never met his real parents, and it seemed like the world was always out to get him. When Shuichi was a baby, he had been adopted by a man who took him just for the money and seemed to hate him. The man was even embarassed to consider Shuichi a son, and so forced the boy to call him uncle. Shuichi grew up in his adoptive uncle's detective agency and learned he had a knack for investigating. Unfortunately, it just made the boy's "uncle" hate him more and he dumped Shuichi into foster care when he was only nine. His life continued like that, and he was tossed around from foster home to foster home because no one wanted him. It seemed whatever Shuichi did was the wrong thing. He would wash all the dishes, and his foster mom would act like he broke her prized vase. The same thing happened in school, even though he got top grades, he was suspended and expelled for doing nothing but turning in his work with the answers all right. This constant rejection turned the boy into a perfectionist, and Shuichi soon felt like he could do nothing right. He became extremely pale and hid his face behind a cap to protect himself from the world. The only place Shuichi could escape this torment was the library, and it soon became his only safe haven. Even the librarian hated him, but she couldn't yell at him in a library. Burrowing himself in books, Shuichi finally felt safe. Shuichi was 15 when the story starts. He had dark hair, yellow eyes, and a black baseball cap he used to hide his face. He was uncommonly pale, and also extrordinarily skinny. The world hating Shuichi wasn't the only weird thing about him though, when he saw people, he could see different types of glows. Not only that, but he could often see glimpses of space ships not from earth, but sharing that with people just made him hate them more. One day when Shuichi was reading, he accedentily pulled out a book that caused a door to open, and reveal a hidden passage. Cautiously, Shuichi walked through the passage and found a mysterious book, called the legends of Hopes Peak. Shuichi, believing it to be fiction, began to read it. The book told the tale of a marvolous kingdom and the dangers it face when it's king and queen perished. There was a legend about a lost heir, but the detective didn't pay that much mind, instead seeing the passage that revealed the special abilities the people of this land have. This shocked Shuichi, because it was so simillar to the strange things he saw. He read that there was a war with another planet, and it said that when the heir dissappeared, a curse was cast on him, so he might never know hope or care, for everyone to hate him no matter what he did. This shocked Shuichi, as you might imagine, but as he finished reading it, the book turned to dust. He suddenly wished he had payed more attention to that legend before the book was destroyed, but there was nothing he could do now. Shuichi left the library and tried to gather himself together so he could make a plan, but he was still reeling from what he had read there. That's when the young detective came across two odd things. One was a very odd spaceship, very similiar to the ones he often saw glimpses of. And the other was a purple haired boy in a astronaut suit. Intrested, Shuichi decided to take a look.

Kaito was the youngest astronaut trainee in history. The young boy grew up with his grandparents, who told him they had moved from somewhere far away, but refused to tell him where. Kaito grew up near NASA, and so became fasinated with space and the stars. His grandparents often called him a starry eyed child, since it had been his dream since he was very little to one day reach for the stars. He had trouble in other subjects but when it came to astronomy he aced it. Other kids sometimes thought he was weird or even loony with his aspiration for going to space, but his grandparents loved him and supported his dream. Kaito passed the exam when he was only 12, and for the past few years had been training to be an astronaut. Kaito was pretty tall, with purple hair and purple eyes. Kaito also had this strange thing happen to him where he could see auras and glows around people. He didn't tell anyone since he didn't want people to think he was crazy, but it just made him more determined to go to space so he could figure out what was going on with him. When Kaito was 16 is where his story begins. Kaito was told by the commander that he would finally be sent on a mission to space, which excited him so much. Kaito was determined, so they flew him out on airplane to where the flight would occur, but something happened. Technical difficulties made it so the craft was unfit to go to space, when he saw people who looked different. Instead of the fully encased auras most people had, they were more like storm clouds, curling around there feet. And with them was a space ship unlike anything Kaito had ever seen. The two people said things that made no sense to Kaito, but he could tell from their auras that they were malicious. Kaito hid so they wouldn't notice him, but knew there was something up with these people. He decided to stow away on the ship so he could find out what, but before he could a boy walked toward the ship, so Kaito ran foward and pulled the kid down before he could be caught. "What are you doing?!" He whisper screamed, "You're going to get caught!" The boy stiffened and stepped back like Kaito was going to hit him or something, which worried him. "Are you okay?" The boy looked at him with surprise and asked, "Do you hate me?" Those four little words froze Kaito in his tracks and he looked at the boy, who looked so pale. The boy named Shuichi also needed to get on that ship, which is how Kaito ended up stowing away on a space ship with a kid who thought the world hated him.

Kaede was a ruler in training. Since she was born, she knew it was her destiny to protect the kingdom and the lost heir when he returned home. Kaede grew up in Hopes Peak, and had been preparing since childhood to accend to the musical throne. Three thrones remained empty, but Kaede kept training to recieve her birthright. Kaede was good hearted, and extrordinarily determined, but also doubted herself and her abilities to rule. The 17 year old girl had long blond hair that went down to her back, and pink eyes full of determination. Kaede's parents were proud of her, though they also worried for her immensely. Kaede prepared herself for a political meeting when Kirumi came to get her, saying Avangiline's forces had laid seige to the castle and that the girl had to prepare to go into hiding. Kaede packed up but witnessed Chiaki, her lady in waiting, being captured and went to go stop it. "Hello princess," said a voice Kaede was not fond of hearing, and she was forced into the ship. Kaede sighed and turned to Chiaki, who looked morose. "Why didn't you hide Kaede?" She asked and the pianist sighed. "You needed help, I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. Kaede sighed again and listened to Kokichi yell at one of the commanders for an apperent false alarm. Kaede suspected they were looking for the missing prince, but turned to Chiaki, who was growing paler. Chiaki's boyfriend Hajime, and his twin Izuru had gone missing and Chiaki was immensely worried. Kaede wanted to help her, but didn't know how.

Maki was an assasin. That was all she knew from being a small child. Maki grew up on Avangaline and was taught to kill from a very young age. The girl had black hair and red eyes and didn't even feel human. Her whole life, she had been trained and made to kill, believing she was nothing but a tool to be used by whomever wanted her skills. She hated it, hated killing but had no other life. She never knew her parents, and there was no one to extract her from this life. Maki especially hated Kokichi, who used her more than anyone else, but had neither the power not the will to fight back. Maki was 16, and had done many jobs for Kokichi over the years, so when she was summoned and ordered to find the prince and capture him, she obeyed. Maki had no idea that this was the start of her new life, and that a greater destiny awaited her.
