"This was a great continuation of the first The Boss Takes a Wife filling in many gaps in the original. It was an emotional journey and at times the reader was left wondering how Paige and Gabriel would work through the problems they faced. All in all an interesting story that I enjoyed reading. Nice to know the endings of the characters stories. Thank you author for sharing this with us. "

"What a joy to read a book about such a passionate loving married couple with two children.. It was a roller coaster ride of suspenseful danger, exciting surprises and love as the couple ventured to New York where they had meant and fell fast in love before going to Italy to begin their married life. Back at home again in Italy after much suspense and danger sees Paige with a sweet surprise to tell her two children. Loved reading this magical sometimes mystical tale This book had me glued to each page to see each love adventure unravel. It was a beautiful love story from beginning to end. "

Pleasant surprise
"Typically I am not a fan of characters suddenly having "powers"... there seems to be no end to the miraculous things that are done without training or guidance. This book does not allow that to happen. The powers Paige has are minimal and she doesn't know how to use them. I like that the powers are not the focus of Book 2. Thank you!! In my opinion, this series was well written. Will definitely be reading more books from this author."
