Elements Of My Heart
They say that fireflies and waterfalls,
Are two completely different things,
Yet my hearts ablaze,
My imagination takes flight,
Fantasies flow like streams through my mind,
And I fall deeper for your loving heart.
Though these elements do not show match,
Their function is all the same,
For I hold a heart,
But only one shall hold the key.
Bent,
Broken,
Chipped and cracked,
Only such a locksmith,
Shall mend these broken bones.
You hold the match,
You piolet the plane,
You open the floodgates,
You complete the cavern in my heart,
Catching me each time,
I fall ever so deeper into your eyes.
