"I like how the story flows from one thing to another. Commented on a few chapters with my opinion or some (very) small mistake. I always received a response from the author. (I try to be cryptic to avoid spoilers; English isn't my first language, so ask me if something doesn't make sense) The only thing that's sort of absent, especially in the beginning of the book, is Claire. She's supposed to be knowing where her daughter is all the time, but doesn't know about her gaming habits. There's not really a valid reason to invite Nancy and Alex over for dinner. And I don't understand why Claire didn't relay more information about her daughter. As professionals, there should not be any surprises to her mundane activities. Does that make sense? As a solution, you could maybe describe Claire as trying to give her some privacy and maybe describing their relationship a bit more. This is the tricky part, because I do think you've described a sincere mother/daughter relationship already. I'm not sure how to put it in there somewhere... Sorry! I hope my feedback can help you, or you can just let it slide. Anything you decide is your decision, and therefor the right one!"
