The Disciples: New Beginnings

Gray clouds hover over the Disciple mansion, and lightning strikes down at the ground. The wind blows violently through the forest trees, and screams of agony can be heard from inside the large congested estate.

Inside the mansion, in the common area, a crowd of mafiosos and capos are surrounding and observing the torture of one of their own. The tortured sits on their knees, with blood dripping down his face. Whimpers and cries is all they can let out. The mafiosos stare apathetically at the scene before them. They all wore either suits, long cocktail dresses, or in hospital gown attire.

“You don’t deserve a quick, peaceful death…” KC begins; he kneels down and caresses the chin of the Disciple, menacingly, they move their hand down slowly to the members’ neck and grips it hard. “You deserve the most slow and torturing death that there is to man kind.” KC grips both of his hands and squeezes tighter and tighter. The Disciple chokes on their blood and tries to break free from KC’s hold. The blood soon transfers over to KC’s suit and seeping into the fabric. KC was known far and white for his platinum white hair , pale skin that made his vibrant blue-green eyes stand out. And now is hair slightly stained with bloody red.

Ace, the second-hand man watches from a distance from behind KC. He tightens his grip on his gun holster; he slightly furrows his brow at the gruesome sight of blood.

The body of the Disciple goes limp and the body falls to the floor with a thud. The thud echoed through the whole estate and gave an eerie feel to it.

“KC…” Ace approaches KC from behind and places his hand on their shoulder. KC is panting heavily, blood is splattered over his face and his eyes are filled with rage and intent. “Killing off one of our own wouldn’t bring her back, you know it.”

KC slowly rises, and the crowd watches in silence.

“I know…but,” The individual re-adjusts their tie and tries to stay as composed as he can be. “This is payback. An eye for an eye, and a life for a life. That’s the way it goes. They should’ve known that by now before they thought of taking advantage of her.” KC spits on the lifeless body and keeps his gaze on the ground. He slowly brings his head up and stares up at the ceiling.

“Soldiers!” KC shouts out to the crowd. All members from the crowd kneel down on one leg and hold their fist to their heart.

“Boss!” They all shout back in return.

“From this day on, whoever dares go behind my back, I will kill you, just as I did with this person just now. Do you understand?!”

“Sir!”

“I said, do you understand?!” He shouts.

“Yes sir! Roger that, sir!”

“You all are dismissed…Ace, bring the cleaners up here to clean up this mess, I’m going for a drink.” KC says as he walks away and while the large crowd disperses. “Make sure they block off the common area so that they can do their work. They have a lot of cleaning to do.”

“Yes boss. ” Ace responds while glancing down at the lifeless body of the Disciple.
