Chapter 1
I wonder what the clouds have seen
The created ideas, the mysterious things
Tell me, clouds, are aliens real?
Have you seen where it all began?
Who was there, clouds? Don’t be shy
Why’d they do it, clouds? You must have heard
Where did they go, clouds?
Did they get what they deserved?
You’ve seen floods and storms and rainbows
You were there when the dinosaurs burned
And Rome and France and the Prairie
You must have heard the screams, clouds
Couldn’t you have called for help?
Why didn’t you do something, clouds?
You surely heard our call
We waited and waited and hated you clouds
You could have saved us all.
