INTRODUCTION
‘Darjeeling Tea’ is a fictional horror, crime and thriller novel with a few psychological elements. To me, it is a sort of experimental work since I am not used to the Horror genre. My type is usually a lot of action and adventure so, elements from those genres can be also noticed.
This piece of work is inspired from a lot of other movies or literary works, but the plot is original. And as the name suggests, it’s not about ‘Darjeeling’ but is about ‘Darjeeling Tea’. Well, directly or indirectly….
Talking about the plot, it features a group of friends on a vacation to North Bengal. There will be a lot of souls, spirits and stuff with a ‘neo-noir’ vibe. Although this is a fictional work, I am trying for the approach to be as realistic as it can be. Also, this work will contain a lot of gore and dark sequences which might be disturbing for some readers. I have a friend who almost pukes when we talk about anything related to blood. So, do take care about that.
