Summary

Bellerose's purity meant a lot to her. She kept every single piece of her purity, not because she's religious, but because she had values, values that others often judged her for. She was never swayed by men, but that all changed when she met Raine, the only man she's ever wanted to devour every single piece of her innocence. And so he did, but now, two years later, she realizes that that night didn't mean anything to him as it did to her. To him, she was nothing more than an innocent girl who wanted nothing more than to be ravished by an attractive man. Then, on the other side of the city, in the small town Bellerose grew up, lives Kaden, a blind man with a pure heart. He yearns for nothing more than to meet the girl of his dreams, his soul mate, fall in love and live happily ever after, and when he coincidentally meets Bellerose one snowy night, he starts to believe that maybe the key to his happiness lies with her. But she's too consumed by her lust for another man to even see Kaden as anything more than a friend with a pure soul, and this is why Kaden will stop at nothing to show Bellerose that he is everything she needs in a man. Who will Bellerose choose? The alluring Raine who makes her weak in the knees, or the pure Kaden who makes her heart flutter?

Prologue

Nerves flutter in my stomach.

His hands grip my hips, his eyes staring deeply into my own. My arms hesitantly wrap around his neck, uncertain. I’ve never felt this before, this nervousness, this uncertainty. His intense gaze sends a shiver down my spine.

My heart is racing. My body feels excited, but my brain is consumed by anxiety. I don’t know how to react to this sudden rush of different emotions. My eyes graze over every inch of his face. Chocolate brown eyes that seem black underneath the lights, pale skin with a tiny scar on the left cheek, pink plump lips and then his hair, his thick tousled black hair that splays across his forehead, falling into his eyes. Then my eyes travel downwards, to his arms, and his big veiny hands.

It feels strange. He feels strange. He is everything I physically want in a man, and that makes him strange. How can one person be so perfect for me?

Eliza will kill me if I don’t take this man home with me tonight.

I want to touch him more. I want to run my fingers down his chest. I want to bury my hands in his thick hair. I want to taste him on my tongue.

All these thoughts increase my anxiety. I’ve never had these kinds of thoughts before. Just who is this man to do this to me?

“Belle.” he breathes out, his voice thick and heavy.

He knows my name. How does he know my name? Did I tell it to him? I can barely remember anything as I gaze into his eyes.

His grip on me tightens, pulling me closer. My eyes flutter closed, and I lean my head against his shoulder.

“Belle.” he says again, louder this time.

The way he says my name, it sounds like he wants me.

I want him too.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

Bargara4670: This was a refreshingly different love story. Both Hadleigh and Grant were strong and likeable characters. It was satisfying to see their relationship develop. I wonder if this story will be the first in a series. I would be interested to find out if Marina is bonded.
