"This first chapter seems like a really good lead into what will become the rest of your story. Your setting and character-building was very well done. I already feel like Bassey's character will be tackling some self-image and loyalty based off what I've read so far, though I am not sure. However, this makes him relatable, which will bring me back to see what comes next. I love a good character journey. As for Ansa, his story seems like it will be a very sad one that may have began much more dynamically. I am excited to see how their lives overlap; how they split apart."
A good start
"I enjoyed the writing of the first chapter. It made me want to know more about the relationship between the 2 characters and how they reached that point between them. As this is only the first chapter, it's a really good start. It provides a good introduction and the settings are described quite well and I found it easy to picture in my mind how the characters look and sound."
