I wake up and do my usual morning routine. shut off my alarm, go to the bathroom, wash my face, etc. I hear a loud racket coming from the room next door.
"sounds like the idiots are awake." i say to myself.
I have 4 brothers. Ejirou (16), Touka (12), Ayato (10), and Tanjiko (15) or just Tanji for short.
Everyday it's the same racket. yelling, screaming, arguing, etc.
I can hear our butler, Roger, trying to calm them down. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't quit yet, i mean i would've if i had to deal with them.
"Kids come downstairs, we need to talk." My dad yells out to all of us.
This isn't unusual, he always seems to want to talk to us about family stuff, chores, etc.
I get downstairs to see my mom and dad sitting at the dining room table, waiting for me and my siblings. We all sit down around the table awaiting their "news."
"Since you all are getting a good grip on your quirks and your combat skills, we've decided to enroll you into UA high." my dad says with excitment in his voice.
"What!? No way!" Eijirou says jumping up and down in joy with a huge bright smile on his face.
"But what about the enrollment tests and the acceptance letters? There's a training course to see if we qualify!" I exclaim.
"No need to worry, y/n. We handled that." My mom says as she looks over to me.
"How?" Tanji asks.
"Isn't it obvious Tanjiko?" my dad says.
"No, not really. Thats the #1 hero school in all of Japan!" says Tanji.
"Money." my dad says.
I have no idea what amount of money my dad spent on this, but I am excited!
"But wait-- its all the way across Japan! How are we gonna get there? Its a good 4 hour drive! Plus where are Ayato and Touka gonna go?!" I say in pure confusion.
"We bought a new house sweetie. And they will go to the local elementary schools! But its a small house, to hide our family's past and to stay on the low." my mom says.
A new house!? A new school!? all of this is hitting me in the face way to fast. I can physically feel the whiplash from all of this news being shared all at once.
Oh yeah, i should probably explain what my mom meant about "our family's past." We used to live in America and in America, our past family is known to be very powerful. Think of the mafia, but less murder. We're very fortunate with money and "power" because of it. We moved to Japan because we wanted to escape from all of the chaos. We have family here as well that isn't part of that, my moms side. My dads family is bat shit crazy and they all have power filled mindsets.
"Pack your things" mother says. "We leave today."
