Freeing Joshua; " I am a free man at peace!"
"Every author writes in different styles. I'll say this story was sad among other things that happened. Even though Katie never got her chance of a life with Joshua, she stayed to help him out when the world thought he was a murderer: an innocent man more like. Ten years later...I can't imagine what Joshua went through yet it felt like the appeal wasn't the only thing to set him free. He was setting himself free of it all. I can understand why because once you've been incarcerated so long, you lose hope of everything. You go out into this world seeing a record on you, how people see something different that is not you. How much your life would change even if you had dream girl meant for you. Life doesn't always workout in our favor. It's got a way to ruin us that in the end, we set ourselves free. " I am a free man." Freeing Joshua can be heavy on your heart. Recommend it? Yes but keep an open mind before you read it. "

"The story is well written, keeps one guess what really happened. A few more personal details would be nice at the beginning of the story. Perhaps just small inserts as to their childhood showing good times and bad times that they shared together. How their love grew for each other and how little brother always tagged along. Also, how can she forgive Dexter knowing that he is the reason that her first love went to prison and eventually died. I would think that she would be angry at least at first. Overall, a great read just needs a bit more detail. Clearly, I enjoyed it and will recommend it to others."

"It's been such an emotional roller-coaster to follow Katie's quest throughout the story. The author successfully transferred her emotions and state of mind to the reader. I found myself crying many a times during my read. Perhaps a few excerpts of Joshua, Justin and Katie's childhood adventures would have been interesting. I really like Justin's character too. He's so lovable and his character portrays the pain of a convict's family so well. Also, Dexter being the reason Joshua was condemned, I'd rather he was friendzoned. To be fair, Katie had to move on in life, but I couldn't see it with the man behind her true love's incarceration. That being said, the author's narrative was emphatically fluent. The author satisfying expressed the incoherent feelings of the key characters. The structure of the narration was very well planned too. There was no overlapping nor too much unnecessary details to the plot. All in all, a storyline well-turned."

"It's a really great plot. I never got bored with the book. I'm almost finished and I literally started it yesterday. The only reason that I'm giving this book four stars, is because it has some minor grammatical errors. Otherwise I would give this book five stars! ❤"
