"So, first and foremost, this author knows how to write. Didn't know what to expect going into this but it exceeded all expectations. The title sweet sixteen perfectly defines what the book entails from start to finish, though it isn't some perfect love or summer fling gone right. There were so misunderstandings between our love interests and children that it made me want to honestly beat the screen of my laptop-- but that is good because this book does get you that invested. Then when we threw in the fact that our hunk of the story is clearly moving on physically and somewhat emotionally it makes me want to cry. Really, how many of us knew we were destined for someone only for life to get in the way? All in all, it was a great read. Despite when people have dialogue, it would have been easier to have quotations, I didn't think it was enough to rate 4 stars. I don't mind things like that. Way to go author."
