first story
I can’t believe this is happening. ’ALL I DID WAS LAUGH AT A JOKE’ I think. I’m sat down in the principal’s office; my eyes scan the wall and I see copies of notes to parents and the pictures of the children the notes were about. My hands are fidgeting, and the air feels muggy. There’s a knot in my stomach that’s getting tighter every second that I’m sat in that room. The walls and roof seem to be closing in on me, like wolves closing in on their prey. A shiver runs down my back as the doorknob turns, and the door opens with a sharp creaking sound. A small woman with hard eyes strides into the room, the clicks and clacks of her heels echo off the walls. She settles down in her leather chair and places her hands on the desk. My eyes dart to the ground, I’m squeezing my arm with my hand, my fingernails digging into the skin. Then the woman begins to speak.

I just finished reading your story Short Short Short Story and I loved it so much. Your writing is vivid and immersive, and I kept thinking how compelling it would look as a comic/manga.
I really loved the opening scene where the protagonist is sitting in the principal’s office, feeling the tension and anxiety building up. The description of the walls closing in, the shiver down the back, and the sharp creak of the door opening all these sensory details create a palpable atmosphere that would translate beautifully into comic panels, capturing the protagonist’s inner turmoil and the suspense of the moment.
I’m a commissioned artist, and I’d love to draw your story into a comic/manga. No pressure though, I just think your work would look awesome in comic form.
